That whistle’s blowin’ and you’ve been bustin’ your hump all day for the man. This clean crisp blonde ale has just enough hop character to make it interesting, but remains a nice easy drinking session beer.

16 oz can. Pours hazy straw yellow with a thin white head that quickly goes to a thin collar.

The aroma is subdued - sweet bready honey malts.

The flavor is sweet honey malts with a light bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with very low carbonation.

Overall, uninspiring but not offensive.

Draft. Pours a thin, poorly retained white head, with slight lacing, over a clear, dark yellow (SRM 4) body.......nose is mile malts, with hints of bread, minimal hop notes, balanced, with minimal esters.......taste is moderate malts, with slight biscuit, mild slightly spicy finishing hop bitterness......mouth feel, medium light body, no alcohol high carbonation. This is a rather simple and uninteresting beer, that comes close to the style, and is only slightly more complex than a Pale Lager. BJCP 7/2/10/4/6

355ml can. Over carbed. Pours all head. When it settles it is a light golden pour. Aroma is typical over carbed brew smell. Flavor is weak, bit of honey, autolyzed yeast, not a good one.

Golden color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Malty, grassy, some citrus.

Sample at the brewery. Low fluffy white lasting head. Clear pale yellow body. Mild dustry fruity aroma. Mild fruity grass flavor with a fair amount of hops bitterness, high carbonation and a long finish.

A little biscuit, a little corn, even a little butter. Definitely not one of Renegade’s better offerings.

I definitely like what this beer is aiming for: a light-bodied, easy-drinking brew to be enjoyed after the hours have been put in. Aroma has sweet malt with a note of creamed corn. There’s also a lot of creaminess that hits you in the mid-mouth. There’s virtually no hoppiness. This is okay, but not my thing at all. I definitely prefer other Renegade offerings.

12 oz can pours a hazy yellow with a bit of a white head. Hit with corn and DMS on the nose right away. Bad start. Not much body or flavor. Eh.

12oz bottle. Walking the line between Golden Ale and Session IPA. Yellow-tan body, some haze. Thin, frothy head. Not a lot going on. Thin, watery golden malt. Hops and carbonation give it a seltzer bite. Not bad, I can see drinking a lot of this..if it were free. Otherwise maybe not.

Meh...not as stale as some of the other Renegades from Denver, as it wasn’t hoppy to begin with, but a pretty basic malty grain and honey forward blonde. Not bad, nothing exciting.
