Wow. No distribution at all. No growlers at all. Smells of your typical bourbon stout, no head, pitch black. Absolutely delicious. Sweet an hoppie. Shame it's pub only.

Tap at Renegade - black pour, minimal head/lace - nose of dark rum, vanilla, oak, spices, dark chocolate, anise - you kind of need to like rum to enjoy the nose, though - low carbonation, a little thin in the mouth for something so strong - flavor is medium sweet, with a fair amount of spice, toasty oak, vanilla, rum-filled dark chocolate - a touch of tartness before a very warming (but not boozy) finish - some of the bitterness of the base beer comes through on the tail end - I like it, but it could use a heavier body. onceblind (10893) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 30, 2012
Deep black with a thin khaki head. Rich aroma of spiced rum, oak, and dark bakers chocolate. Nice smooth sweetness of dark chocolaty tones countered with earthy toffee, the lightest touch of tobacco, and gentle boozy notes of spices and molasses. Complex and rich, but not quite as sweet as I ha hoped. A little dry and earthy with some biscuity notes throughout. It’s good, but not quite outstanding.
