Pour on tap is clear orange with nice white head, aroma brings notes of big pine, caramel, orange and citrus notes with a nice spicy rye presence. Taste is a nice mix of pine and spicy hops, touch of orange and grapefruit, hints of rye spice but not really very present, touch of biscuit and caramel finishes fairly bitter. Nice stuff, like it!

Sample at the brewery. High fluffy lasting white head. Clear yellow golden body. Fruity dry and dusty aroma and flavor with a fair amount of hops bitterness, low carboantion and a long finish.

draft @ kitchen next door, boulder. light filtering gives it a shimmering copper colored body. high alpha acid american hop nose (dried grass, orange oil, pine resin, grapefruit) with touches of caramel / vanilla / rye from the grains. medium body, surprisingly tight malt structure and carbonation, firm toastiness with a resinous pine and mildly spiced rye character. clean for the most part. well-done. im actually impressed by this new startup, theyre putting out flavorful, well-made beers right off the bat.

Deep opaque copper. Aroma has slight rye with a ton of citrus hops. Smells also, oddly, of freshly cleaned copper. But the taste is where its at. Caramel malt and rye hit first, with some grapefruit/orange citrus rind, resinous and juicy. Balanced, assertive, big delightful flavor. Win!

12oz can pours with a nicely hop hazed copper body that supports a near white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up pine, floral hops, a bit of citrus and then a maltiness that might have a spicy rye like feel to it. The taste delivers hop notes that are on the bitter and near resiny side. I get a moderate pine hoppiness that has a resiny edge and then some pineapple and grapefruit fruity hop bitterness. Behind that lurks a rye spicy twang. Decent bitter hopped brew.

64 ounce growler thanks to Armin. Nice orange pour. Good foamy head. Caramel. Bitter. Not in your face hops, but well done and balanced. Very tasty and even at 7% feels very drinkable and sessionable.

Can. Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium to dark amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, caramel), moderately hoppy (resin, grapefruit), with a note of butter/diacetyl. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, slightly unclean. Medium body, syrupy texture, lively/soft carbonation, moderately alcoholic. A very simple, buttery example. Drain pour.
