375ml. Bottled in 10 October 2015. Papier, korek wystrzelil, dymek i ten aromat niesamowicie wodzacy nos swieza wisnia zerwana z drzewa, swiezutenka i mloda sliwka, wlasnie sliwki tu najbardziej mi sie kojarzyly. Potem taka stara tostowa slodowosc, znow wino sliwkowe. Delikatne i przyjemne. Barwa bardziej intensywnie brazowa niz czerwona. Chmielu Poperinge w zasadzie nie czulo sie. Ale w tym stylu nie o to tu chodzi. Super.

From bottle at VCBF; puts hazy brown coloured. Aroma is wood, yeast and sourness. Taste follows the aroma, light bitter, slightly sweet, wood, slightly sour. Delicious! Light to medium body, average carbonation.

Pours a deep-brown, almost purple colour when held to the light is red with a nice off-white head. Aroma: malty, peppery, red wine vinegar. Taste is mainly sour. Fruity, rich malt notes with lots of lactic sourness. Lively carbonation makes it quite thirst-quenching and the sourness makes it lip-smackingly dry on the finish. Complex and interesting, a really great beer.

0.375 l bottle (or what’s left of it) from ’belgiuminabox.com’, bottled in October 2015, about one-and-a-half-year old. Gusher! Hazy, brownish red with a massive, quite fluffy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, quite dusty, minimally funky and a bit fruity aroma of oak, balsamic vinegar, cherries and lots of cellar. Slightly sweetish, moderately sour, dusty and moderately fruity taste of cellar, oak, red grapes, cherries, caramel and some almond, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, moderately tart, rather dry, peppery and dusty finish. Medium body, slightly astringent, dry and very effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Tastes quite nice, but surely not my favourite Oud Bruin. Not really convinced by any of their brews by the way.
