Bottle @ home, from torriman. Thanks! Pitch black pour with a light tan head. Notes of dark malts, dark dried fruits, figs and dates, light vanilla, some warming alcohol but incredibly smooth and tasty!

Pours a pitch black color with medium beige head. Aroma is sweet, with cocoa, milk chocolate, vanilla, red wine and Brandy. Taste follows the nose, sweet, with chocolate, coffee and vanilla, dark fruits, berries, wine-ish notes and Brandy. Alcohol is well hidde. Best of the Apokalypses so far.

@Feria de Noblejas’16. Black color with a beige head, medium retention. Aroma has notes of coffee beans, black chocolate and black ripe fruit. Flavor with a light bitterness, notes of chocolate plumbcake and roasted malts. Smoothy and dense final with light sweetness and hints of brandy in the aftertaste.

De tirador al Catalluna. Cervesa negra amb escuma beix. Aromes dolços molt llaminers que recorden al pa de pessic o el brioix torrat, també trobo café, xocolata i alcohol. Bona!

7th July 2016 and the first day of the Barcelona RBESG is coming towards it’s end, dark beers now replacing the lighter, citrusy flavoured beers of the earlier brews. This was on tap at Cerveseria Catalluna and shared with those remaining after a heavy session. Jet black with a full beige head. Sweet from the start this brew oozed chocolate and sweet vanilla like flavours and aromas, some Port, Brandy and red wine from the aging, no wood for me, mini red berry esters too. Very drinkable for the ABV.

Tap at Catalluna. Black with bubbly beige head. Sweet chocolate, black berries, massive sweet liquor, vanilla, sugared coffee, red wine, light sour red berries. Quite sweet, Light sour and very light bitter. Medium bodied with watery feel and low carbonation.
