Surprisingly good. Heard bad things about reschs, and had a really bad schooner of reschs bitter at the Queanbeyan Golf Club, but thats another story. Not bad at all.

Bottle. Being a fan (relative to others of its ilk) of Reschs on tap, I was keen to give this a spin. Disappointing to say the least. Not on the same level as its sibling. More watery, less refreshing. Has something rubbery/plastic-esque about it. Just dull.

Not real good. I would drink it on a hot day though, bit of funky bitterness and aftertaste, mineral water body, falls a bit flat

375 ML bottle Clear, golden straw color. No head at all, just a thin white collar. Have to work to get a head but that does not stick around long. Nose is sweet corn, cereal, grain, wet cabbage and no hops. I thought a pils had hops. Guess I was wrong. Taste is clean and corn like. Lots of cereal, grain, stewed corn and syrup. Light and clean in the mouth. Slightly metallic and candy corn finish. Pretty yuck. Might go well on a hot day though

750ml bottle into schooner glass. Slight metallic nose. Pours golden with solid white head. Some lacing. Bitter taste, medium body. Aftertaste is short with a very slight umami/hop note. A little bit better than the usual aussie macros. Much better on tap. Hard to find outside Sydney.

This used to be a sensational beer, until they changed the formula about 3 years ago. Now it might as well be Fosters.

Slight malty aroma. Clear golden colour with good head. Nice smooth flavours up front with bitter finish. Light to medium body with medium carbonation.

Tasted 4/3/2014. BB 08Aug14. Poured a clear golden amber colour with a 5mm white bubbly head that retained OK and laced well. Carbonation moderate to high with large bubbles. Aroma subtly of caramel malt with a trace of hops. Taste malty with no real bitterness; more larger like malts than a pilsner. Light body. Smooth creamy finish. Nice.

Brown bottle (375ml). Appears clear golden in the glass with a small short-lasting white head. Not much on the nose but I get soapy hops and a faint malt sweetness. Flavour is thin sweet malts with an unpleasant metallic finish. Wet mouthfeel. Totally lacking any of the dry hop bitterness associated with any half-decent pilsner. Avoid.

Bottle. Clear gold no head. Subtle aroma with a hint of hops. Medium body and carbonation. Taste is grain with some citrus and an OK bitter finish. Overall this is a reasonable beer, but certainly not great.
