An unclear orange-brown beer with a beutiful orange head. The aroma is lovley wheaty, and fruity with notes of oranges and pink-grape, as well as candy suger. The flavor is not as good as the aroma promises, it is wheaty combined with notes of oranges, the wheat gives it a dry end. The body is thin. beerbuzzmontreal (3486) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - APR 18, 2005
Pours a muddy peach color with a thin white head. Aroma and flavor of wheat, caramel and candy. Light to medium body, creamy texture, moderate carbonation. This is nice, sweet and refreshing, but it’s simple though.

Cloudy (opaque), brownish-orange under a lacy, white cover. Fruity aroma: banana, apricot/peach, yeast, citrus, and a pinch of malt. Flavour is extremely fruity: apricot, candy, clove, lemon. At first, this beer kind of tasted like make-up/lipstick. There is a little bit of sweet malt flavour but a huge amount of wheat character and no bitterness. Light to medium body and not enough carbonation to be refreshing--kind of a neutral feel. Not overly impressive, but different. ClarkVV (6873) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 11, 2005
On draught at Réservoir, 3/6/05 with Muzzlehatch and tiggmtl. Light orange, weak amberish body, is barely transluscent with a moderate amount of light beige head, fairly well retained. Aroma is dry, lightly nutty/wheaty, with some light citrus, bland yeast and cardboard. I like wheat beers, I like amber ales but this one didnt seem to have great components of either. Medium body does not contain much flavor. Astringent wheat notes, practically no malt sweetness. I’m left sucking on nutty wheat and light hops bitterness. Toasted grains further dry things out. Lots of mineral water flavor. Either they didnt get good extraction, they didnt want much extraction or they were afraid to get too much extraction from the malt, because there’s just no reason this should be so dry and attenuated. Pours orangey red haze with a thin soapy head. Sweet, tangerines and yeast. Mildly spiced with some very prickly carbonation. Wheat could have been more pronounced. Flavours are very light and refreshing. Finish bittersweet.

Tap. May 2004 with Tiggmtl. Hazy amber ale with a nose of apricots and maple. Sweet malt and slight maple notes with some coriader. On the watery side, would gain having more malts. muzzlehatch (4969) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 7, 2004
Half-pint at the brewpub with the inimitable tiggmtl. Apricots mixing with tame bananas in the light but palpable nose...bright orange and cloudy with thickish small head...very clean, light and citrusy throughout, with light fresh herbal (rosemary) quality...clean finish. Nice cloudy amber body topped with an average off-white creamy head. Pleasant fruity (citrus), spicy, and yeasty aroma. Taste unfortunately lacks strenght. The mix of wateriness and hoppiness is typical of the prematurately marketed beers. Finish is short and moderately bitter. The mouthfeel definitely do not fills the promises made by the aroma. Disappointing... omhper (25750) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - NOV 22, 2004
Sampled draught at the brewpub.
Muddy reddish amber. Bubbelgum aroma. Sweet and full of flavours: red berries, citrus, wheat, toffee and jam. Medium bodied, low bitterness.
