Brown colour on the body, clear, with a small tan head on top, with good density and average retention.
Aroma has toasted malts, hints of chocolate, caramel, light toffee.
Taste follows, toasted malts and chocolate hints, toffee, hops on the finish, with a nice bitter aftertaste.
Medium thin body, high carbonation.

Rating #2040- 2015.09.27 #CraftTakesSeattle Day 4, Beer 142 - Draught at Taproom Dark brown pour with a weak bubbly tan foam that disappears quickly. Aroma is strong roast malts, hint of nutty sweetness. Decent body, Taste is bold earthy, mild roasted coffee bean, mild cocoa, slightly bitter finish that is quite pleasant. Impressive. thetmaxx (917) - West Sacramento, California, USA - DEC 3, 2015
From the bomber from tavour. Nice head, good lacing. Aroma is nice, and then the kids acted up and I couldnít finish my rating. Fml Capa (3257) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - OCT 16, 2015
Rather translucent for a brown ale. Beige head. Not a lot going on with this one. Some light roasted malts, chocolate, light sweetness, strong bitter hops. Itís an odd take on a brown- like a citrus filled hoppy brown ale. I love brown ales. I do not love this.

Bottle (22oz). Dark brown with 2 figure head. I think this was an average ale. Not much malt or flavor. Slight burnt taste. Pretty thin in the mouth. This will not be among my regulars, bley7211 (22) - - MAY 26, 2014
Poured from a 22 oz bottle. Poured a dark brown with a thin layer of foam. Aroma is nutty and grassy. Flavor is ok. corpsuckle (101) - Washington, USA - FEB 19, 2014
Pours somewhat opaque dark brown. Light aroma of fresh hops. Tastes fresh grassy and hoppy with significant bitterness. Surprisingly little malt flavor or character for a brown. Meh luttonm (6172) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 19, 2014
Draft at Reubenís brewpub in Ballard. Woody brown, some honey color. Slight toasty crust. Solid, super tasty. trevor211 (1681) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 18, 2014
Hazelnut pour at the brewery. Super mild aroma. Actually a really significant hop bite in here, which I really like. Citrus and earthy sweet malts blend really well. Again (noticing a pattern with their brews), really drinkable. Liked this one quite a bit.
