Pours a light golden color with a little cloudiness and very little head. Smell is of pine, fruity and floral. Taste is much the same with a nice malt balance as well. This is a very drinkable Imperial IPA at 9.4%. Dangerously so. I like it a lot. Dare I say itís close to Pliny? I think so.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a medium sized white head. Citrus and floral notes on the nose. Medium bodied, fruity, a hint of dates, mango and tropical fruit, pine. For nearly 10% this drinks pretty well. The booze is certainly present, but not obtrusively. Slow warmth, floral with a hint of pine on the finish, sticky candied grapefruit peels. Nice.

Sample at the tap room. Clear pale copper color with a medium thick off-white head that recedes gradually. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of resiny hops, citrus and grainy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hop aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

22 ounce shared bottle. Pours golden red with a decent off-white head. Aroma of citrus, tropical, and pine. Taste is grapefruit, tropical, pine, malt, and caramel. Did not see date on bottle, probably past prime.

22 oz bottle obtained through Tavour. Reubenís Imperial IPA is an apple juice amber, slightly hazy beer. Larger head with decent sized white bubbles leaving a good lace. Nose is grapefruit citrus and a bit of medium malt. Taste is again a good citrus hop punch with a surprising amount of dryness based on the nose. Body is lively and a little bit fizzy. A very nice IPA.

Bottle thanks to Lizzie and Daren! Pours a clear amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of resinous pine and a bit of flora with sweet grains backing. Flavor has bitter pine with a touch of grapefruit and a finish of pine, resin and bread.

At the brewery. Very good aroma and head. Delicious, and I like bitter beers, but even so the bitterness was a bit over the top.

(Tap) Nice aroma and pretty good flavor but a bit too bitter for my taste. There are better imperial IPAs.

On tap at Devils Craft. Pours a slightly hazy golden with an off-white head and lacings. Quite sweet with lots of malt and some hops aromas. The hops evolves as the beer ages in the glass. Some spruce and hints of black pepper. Tiny hints of alcohol. Medium to full bodied. Medium carbonation.
