Reuben’s, Seattle. Thin head on mostly clear pale gold. Dry, cool sip: wood, cardboard and dry spice. Nice bitter, earthy rye component. Nicely dry and bitter. Edge of pulpy, fruity pumpkin underneath. Nice balance, a pumpkin beer I’m happy to get behind. BillKismet (4170) - Seattle, Washington, USA - OCT 20, 2013
Tan with a ring of head. Feint, funky nose intermingling with a soupcon of rye, but overall, a wee bit "off." Sweetish burnt candy flavor. Not much spice or complexity. Bittersweet, saccharine finish. AdamChandler (5225) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 13, 2013
pale hazy straw. Sticky head
Has a nice presence of crystal and Vienna malts nose isn’t too bitter,
More of a Saaz nose. I don’t get any pumpkin or spices on the nose. Taste is great. Lots of clove and nutmeg with a dash of cinnamon. Very creamy with candied yams Smurf2055 (1400) - Seattle, Washington, USA - OCT 13, 2013
Pours light lemon color with a finger white head.
Smell is strong rye and a bit of clove. Grainy.
Taste wheat rye and light spices.
Crisp and clean, light bodied.
Not much pumpkin, but very well balanced, good beer. LilBeerDoctor (4280) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 13, 2013
On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of pumpkin pie, sweet malt, allspice. Flavor of cinnamon, raisin, brown sugar, pumpkin, graham cracker crust. Light beer, nice spice profile, lots of cinnamon and graham cracker malt. Yum!

Tap @ Reuben’s... Poured pale, yellow with a moderate head. Nose had pumpkin spices. More spicy than squashy or pumpkin meat-like. But pleasant and vibrant. The rye added nice spice and balanced all the sweetness and pumpkin pie notes going on. mcberko (20305) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 10, 2012
On tap at Reuben’s brews, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of sweet pumpkin puree and a little of the rye spices. Flavour of lightly sweet pumpkin puree and some rye spices as well. Unoffensive and dominated by the puree, with the spice further subdued. Light-bodied and drinkable, but nothing special. Draft at Brouwer’s Cafe. Pours a mostly clear gold with a small off-white head. Aroma of pumpkin, sweet malts, rye, sugar, and allspice. The flavor is the same but spicier; nutmeg and cinnamon. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a spicy mouthfeel. Good pumpkin ale. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - OCT 10, 2012
Draft at sb. Pours a hazy pale amber with a dense and creamy whitish head. Creamy light body. Nice mildly sweet pie spice combined with a soft rye spiciness note. Clean finish.
