Bottel sent to me by Prufrockstar - thanks Chris! Pours a dark brown with a nice tan head. Big roasted malt nose with a hint of burnt chocolate. Great mouthfeel, perfect balance of hops, bitterness and roast. Quit nice.

UPDATED: MAR 10, 2016 Bomber, shared with friends over pizza. Pours deep and dark with good head. Aroma: big on roast and chocolate. Taste: mild sweetness, big roast bitter finish. Palate: medium body, nearly perfect mouthfeel. Overall: this was an awfully nice porter. Awfully nice. Flavorful and way easy to drink.

Rerate as part of blind taste. Balanced and creamy; somewhat chalky; medium+ body with lasting roasty-ish bitter finish [7/4/7/4/14] for middle of the pack in this group of 6.

Bomber. Dark brown in appearance with a layer of mocha foam. Standard Porter aroma of coffee, chocolate and burnt malts. Taste is roasted caramel malt, cocoa powder and light roast coffee with a bit of piney hops around the edges. Medium-bodied mouthfeel with average carbonation and a dry, charred finish. Overall, a standard Porter with a significant amount of roastiness throughout each sip.

22oz bottle from Bottleworks. Gorgeous deep roasty brown, nice foamy brown head. Clean roasty coffee, chocolate malt, balanced sweetness. Fantastic drinker, smooth and lots of taste, a true strong bodied porter with reasonable abv. Lots of flavor in a clean beer. Lovely

Dark reddish brown. Nice roasted malt aroma. Taste is dark and roasty malt. One of the better porters I’ve had.

Nice porter. Has a good roastiness and a solid malt base. Doesn't harbor any doubts of wanting to be a stout. Non sweet. An imperial version would be welcomed. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Elizabeth Station Bellingham, fresh. Pours dense brown with a little frothy head and lace. Aroma is very clean rich toasted barley, crisp evergreen air. Flavor starts cool and sweet then takes a long ride through charred pine. The feel is chewy but astringent with a mouth watering toasted finish. Reuben’s has me sold after just two of their beers. Classic but unique.

Brown to black with amber edges debittered dark malts and smoked malts. A hint of raisins and chocolate. This is a pretty well balanced porter. The combo in the taste is chocolate and smoked malts with an undercurrent of oak and caramel. Not too sweet or dry
