What I like. Pours lite yellow... doesn’t look to appealing. Good lacing. wonderful taste and aroma. Good spice. Good brew. CheersMate (1343) - Portland (Sellhood), Oregon, USA - JUL 29, 2009
On tap at Taco Mac on Peachtree Street. Thankfully wrote some notes down on a cocktail napkin. Anyways, this wheat ale is awesome. It looked like banana puree! Very nice haze bright yellow. Not really that much head, but just an awesome yellow color. Nice citrus/banana aroma. Not really much on the yeast, but the banana and citrus are just amazing to smell. Not an extremely pungent beer, but this is generally the case with wheat beers. Flavor is strong citrus/banana/lemon. A mix of nice fruit flavors just makes this beer amazing. The lemon adds a nice not in the background. I wasn’t expecting the subtle lemon flavor, but definitely noticeable. The lemon flavor adds that touch of ctirus while drinking it that balances out the banana/subtle yeast flavor. Overall, amazing wheat and one of it not my favorite wheat ale! Appearance: Served up a hazed, dark gold body with a smallish, white head.
Smell: Pils and wheat malts supported by piquant notes of lemon juice, lemon zest, flowers, bananas, and spice.
Taste: Pleasant medley of pale, pilsner, and wheat malts with light tanginess from the wheat and an initial burst of sweetness. A strong streak of lemon rushes into the flavor, slightly obscuring the lesser, secondary tastes of banana and coriander. Floral, citrusy hop character with a mild bitterness. It’s like a lemon ice-wheat hybrid. Semi-dry, citrus-laden finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium-plus carbonation.
Drinkability: Fairly enjoyable. All of the lemony tastes within really gives this one an overall bright, refreshing quality to it. unclemattie (4358) - Georgia, USA - AUG 2, 2009
Tap @ TacoMac, John’s Creek. Opaque yellow, rocky white head. Aroma of a radler. Lemonade and sweet malt. yum. Very floral, lots of juice of lemon, sweet malt. nice tang flavor of citrus fruit juice. The body reminds me of a lightened version of Terrapin 30 Strong, lemon fruit juice added. Medium bodied, on the bolder side. Strong lemon flavor is very appealling. lots of fun. Hazy golden with a white head. Big tart wheat, spicy clove and banana aromas. Rich, frothy mouthfeel. Awesome grainy wheat malt, banana clove coriander spicy flavors; liquid banana nut bread. One of the best wheat beers i’ve tried this summer. Draft@ Tangletown.

On draft at taco mac. Pours a milky hazed bright yellow with bright white soapy head. Nose of lemon zest, white pepper, clove. All of which comes through in the flavor. A little yeasty but surpisingly crisp. Very effervescent. Like a belgian wit actually. Refreshing, like lemonade. Pretty damn good for style. Hank1980 (966) - Athens, Georgia, USA - NOV 23, 2009
Thankfully Trappeze was able to get this. This is a wonderful wheat ale. The pour was cloudy yellow with an 2 finger white head. Aroma of banana phenols, citrus fruit, spice, wheat. Very pleasant and big nose. Taste was similar, with a nice bit of fruit mixing well with the wheat. Spice was not really all that noticeable. Mouth was really smooth and carbonation was soft. Overall, a very nice wheat brew. jhumphries69 (1034) - Tyrone, Georgia, USA - AUG 7, 2009
Draft at Taco Mac. Cloudy yellow pour. Aroma is full of citrus and other typical witbier notes - spice and wheat. Flavor is a little light on wheat but high in the citrus and coriander department - like touches of tangerine juice. Overall - very tasty. craftbeerdesign (2254) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - AUG 14, 2009

Tap a Pizza Port - Solona Beach. Pours ahazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Nose is full of wheat with a lite hop tone to it. Flavors are creamy wheat, vanilla, butter, lemon. Mouth is super creamy, medium bodied. Pretty good for me with a style that admittedly is not one of my favorites.
