Bottle. Medium mahogany brown with a robust tan head that shows good retention. Aroma is very reminiscent of Kahlua, lots of chocolate, vanilla, treacle. There is a vegetal, fresh-cut-pepper kind of edge to the aroma too. Palate displays beautiful malt structure, with rich cocoa flavour, creamy vanilla, dark rye breadcrusts, and a distinct capsicum vegetal note in the mildly bitter finish. Very mild peppery heat at the back of the throat, subtle and unobtrusive. Loved it. SpringsLicker (3692) - Tennessee, USA - FEB 23, 2012
Dark brown pour with a tall, long lasting, thick tan head.
Malty caramel aroma.
The flavor is sweet and rich. Malt and nuts, this heads into Scotch Ale territory a little. The additives don’t stand out on their own; they just sort of add their complexities here and there where they are hard to pick out.
Oh, and did I mention that about ten minutes after you think you’ve got this beer figured out, you notice a pleasant, slightly fiery tingle in your mouth from the peppers. Theis (15150) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 6, 2012

Pours a deep mahogany with a thick beige head. Aromas of burnt sugar, molasses, raisins, vanilla, and butterscotch. Medium bodied with a slick mouth feel. Nice roasted malt body with a touch of sweetness. Finish is slightly bitter and a little bit of spiciness. I liked the combo of ingredients and found this beer very enjoyable.
