Sampled at Reutberg kloster brewery. Nice sparkle and opaque orange color. Sweet caramell malty with a firm bitterness.

Koelschtrinker (21489) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - OCT 13, 2016
Wenig süßer, harmonisch malzig-getreidiger Antrunk, weich. Geringe Herbe, hohe Süffigkeit. Im MIttelteil steigend würzig, das Bier bleibt rund. Im Nachgeschmack nachlassend. 10/10/9/9/10/9

bhensonb (15745) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 18, 2016
Bottle from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent dark gold with a white head. Warm caramel aroma. Approaches med body. Flavor is caramel, and there’s a follow on flavor I’ve encountered before but can’t put a name to. Making me think of Horlick’s tablets. Haven’t had those for awhile. So this is not very dry, and certainly not very bitter, but it somehow works for me. I do tend to enjoy kellerbieren.

TURDFERGUSON (4068) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - OCT 22, 2012
Bottle. Cloudy orange golden with a thin spitty white head. Nose is super grainy, dextrinous malt, light honey and bran. Kinda skunky, light buttery, herbal hops, sweet malts. Disappointing.

darkseduction (761) - Zweibrücken, GERMANY - MAR 31, 2012
On tap @ Biergarten Kloster Reutberg. Fresh, copper-coloured unclear brew with a fine hoppy nose. Satisfying wonderful mouthfeel. Malty, grainy. Very good!

armando629 (2456) - Budapest, HUNGARY - FEB 6, 2012
0,5 l bottle, Sörspecialista.
Poured hazy orange/deep amber head with a small lacing tan head. Sourish aroma of yeast and malt, honey, caramel and herbal hops. Malt based body, caramel, honey and fruity sweetness, herbal bit of the hops in the finish with yeast.

3.2
pivnizub (10805) - Bochum, Porř, GERMANY - NOV 12, 2011
Bottle (many thanx to Jonas for this missing piece!): Deep golden to light amber coloured, stable mid-sized white lacy head, moderate fruity-grainy nose, shy hops and some yeast underneath; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, soft and medium bodied; caramelly and malty flavour in the sweet-yeasty finish. O.K., but should be sampled fresher.....
