Brownish-amber with a dense, thick light brown head. Dark munich malt nose with just a hint of smokiness. Flavors of malt and nuts and a surprising amount of bitterness - the aroma had me anticipating a much sweeter beer. A very nice, if not complex, dunkel.

Nose is pilsner, smokeyness and woodyness. Pours with awesome carbonation. Nice and creamy throughout the entire beer. Color is a very nice dark brown color. Taste is some chocolate notes, roasted malt, some honey very complex but highly drinkable. The engineering of this beer is just amazing. I’d say it is on the side of smokeyness for a better part of the taste and the aftertaste. Really have to be in the mood for that. Extremely well done. Enjoyability 5/5.

Taste is caramel, milk chocolate, hazelnuts and cream.. lovely stuff really. Great palate with very little carbonation leads to silkiness and high drinkability. Enjoyed this highly recommended.

Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUN 5, 2012
It’s mahogany red with a creamy, dense and lasting head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, nuts and milk chocolate. The flavor is moderately sweet with notes of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, nuts, a little dark fruits, and the finish is roasted and dry again with some dark fruits. A very nice dunkel.
