From a 500 ml. euro bottle with a coded freshness date on the back label.
Poured a clear, deep lager golden with a foamy, fluffy, bubbly topped white head that settled into a thin bubbly lacing, small amount of laced sticking.
Aromas of a sweet husky grain, lager yeast and a subtle herbal.
Good, steady, even carbonation and a crisp, smooth medium-light bodied mouthfeel.
Tastes of sweet grainy malts, a tart, sour lemon fruitiness, earthy, spicy, herbal hops, and a dryish, sweet malty, herbal grassy finish.
Not bad drinkability, I would try this again.

rather light and refreshing beer, it does have an interesting nose of oats and sweet fruit. Appearance was yellow in color, nice head with little retention. Mouthfeel was light as a feather very clean finish. Flavors were very smooth, slightly hopped, some malty sweetness but not too much. Overall something that can be consumed over and over and still be interesting and refreshing. NYHarvey (2153) - New York, New York, USA - JUL 24, 2006
Ahhh a beer made by nuns. I can taste the sexual frustration! Aroma is hay, grains, must and cereals. Color is a very delicate gold and the body holds a two finger thick creamy white head. It’s a beautiful beer that could stand as a standard for the style. Fore is loaded with cereal/grains flavors. Taste like you would imagine steeped grains would from their smell. Even has a little oatmeal-like kick to it. Quite refreshing. Gets pretty sweet through the middle like a sweetened wheat cake or cookie, but it’s pretty damn spot on to the style. Nice find this one from a style that sees very few examples in the states. Palidor19 (3188) - Brandon, Florida, USA - JUL 9, 2006
A bit too sweet for me, and not the right kind of sweet. The mouthfeel feels medium, Rich malts and low german hops nick76 (4399) - Tampa, Florida, USA - JUL 9, 2006
The aroma is sweet cereal malt with some grassy hops. The appearance is pale gold with a decent head. The flavor is sweet cereal malt with some bitterness. The palate is thin. This is not that great to me.

Not very much aroma. A nice dry grainy flavor. Really a good German beer, dry, but good. awaisanen (1304) - Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 23, 2006
From 16.9oz Bottle. Pours a deep, translucent straw color with a tall, white soapy head. Light aroma of fresh grass, sourdough bread, and some floral marigold buds. Mouthfeel is light and fruity without being thin, and pleasantly carbonated. Flavors of skillet fried cornbread topped with green dandelion leaves. Clean, satisfying finish. Overall, a nice refreshing brew. SoLan (1550) - Florida, USA - APR 20, 2006
Clear, brilliant gold. Nice sized, foamy, white head. Aroma and flavor of crisp grainy malt and floral hops with a bit of corn tortilla. Light, balanced body. Very easy drinking. Great helles. redlight (2318) - Orlando, Florida, USA - APR 5, 2006
Very clean crisp aroma. It pours very light blonde. For apprearing so light it has a very flavorful taste! Some maltiness, with good clean hop finish, finishes a little dry. Not bad winegarner (220) - san diego, California, USA - FEB 23, 2006
Poured a slightly hazy gold with a white quikly fading head. Aroma of citrus and herbs. Tastes nice and malty but is still crisp and refreshing, has a lemony bready flavor. Also has some gently carbonation helping to balance the beer.
