SinH4 (6124) - Garching b. M?nchen, GERMANY - MAR 27, 2017
UPDATED: APR 9, 2017 Bottle, thanks MoritzF! Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is juicy malts with a light fruitiness, a little bit spicy, hay. Taste is juicy malts, fruity hop spice again, easily drinkable, perfectly balanced. Natural carbonation. An unpretentious beer and an excellent examples of what Helles can be, even when bottled. 7-3-7-4-15

Tap at the Klosterbräustüberl. As remembered - I like it a bit more than the Kloster-Hell, it has more hopspice. 7-3-7-4-16

Sampled at the Reutberg ?losterbrauerei. Dirty aroma. Dry malty taste with a medium bitterness.

Bottle at Blau-Weiss - clear golden color with frothy white head. A beautiful Helles. The body is not that malty compared to other good Hell, but its still there, dough and hay. Plus this beer has a lovely overtone of fruity hops, its fresh and crisp and easily drinkable with a moderate bitterness. I loved it.

Crystal clear and a very light straw color. Sweet hoppy, grassy, and a little spicy aroma. Dry finish.

Bottle from Robinwood: Created a thick fluffy foam cap rested on top a glowing yellow blonde. Aroma is faint with only a minor whiff of grain and wheat. The drink is semi sweet with notes of bitter grain and hay like flavors. Overall a crisp clean blonde but it was bland and nothing short of normal.

Ritzn (1709) - GERMANY - NOV 9, 2015
This beer carries the regular bitterness and overall aroma that any other Helles does. However it has some very distinctive and surprisingly heavy malt taste that underlies everything else. I am not sure how to describe it... It is probably very close to some earthy fermented figs..? I am not yet decided, whether I enjoy this quite interesting unusual note. Probably not :)

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2015 Crystal clear straw color with a beautiful white head. Aroma has grains, a bit of honey but also some alcohol notes. Taste is slightly sweet at first, with bread and honey notes and gets more balanced in the finish but I don’t get any hops. Decent.

Headbanger (4020) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - SEP 3, 2015
16.9oz bottle 9/3/15 (Courtesy of TerryR)-46° in Lager Glass-Pours a light golden with great carbonation and a nice fluffy white head. Aroma of corn, sweetness, and malt. Taste of the same with some dought and grains coming in. This light bodied brew is well balanced and goes down smooth as I am usually not a big fan of this style.

I can’t believe this beer is rated so low! It has a beautiful color, and a great finish! This is my Summer beer of choice! But then again, I am a real man and do not drink foo foo beers like hipsters do!
