Bottle courtesy of Alex420 - thank you! Part of a group tasting with the RB crew and staff at Birreria Paradiso Georgetown, thank you for volunteering! This was most people’s favorite of the night, certainly the best of the session beers. Although everyone liked the Nintendo labels, most pointed out that this dark purple label suggested something more like an imperial stout rather than a pale ale. Most people commented on the strawberry. marshmallow, perfume and other fruits in the aroma. All commented that the beer has a lot of flavor for a 4.5%er, with grapefruit and other citrus; one person found it too bitter. Very tasty. madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - DEC 15, 2012

Craft Clarkenwell. A sample bottle generously shared by Frederic and Tom - cheers guys! Light haze on this gold beer, little bubbly white head. Palate is light and crisp. Semi dry. Lovely fresh hops - Citra? Light but vibrant orange and lemon with a trace of skunk. Mild minerally crisp finish. A lovely pale ale. I’ve really missed Revelation Cat and Alex - they seemed to have all but disappeared over the 18 months. Hope this is the start of the comeback.
Bottle at the hotel in Rome - picked up at Domus Birrae. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a strong, frothy white head. Fresh and zesty citrus in the nose, orange, tangerine, some lemon, plenty of pith and rind. Light sweet flavor with moderate rindy bitterness, mellow but crisp pale malts. Light bodied with average to lively carbonation.clean finish with more rindy and pithy citrus bitterness, lightly biscuity pale malts, tangerine, orange, grapefruit. Somewhat watery at times but overall quite refreshing. Rasmus40 (20649) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - FEB 27, 2013
