Handpumped. Pours clear and golden deep brown with a small tan head. Aroma is dark roasted malty with a nice caramelish note. Dark malty and dense toffee roasted caramelish. Vague smoked note. Lingering dark malty with a slight chocolate note to the smooth malty base. Liqourice too. Lingering into a nice finish with a warmning to hot finish. Lovely.

@ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Handpumped. This pours golden orange. The aroma bursts with honey, apricots, candied oranges and a hint of petrol fumes. On the palate it is sweet with an amazing balance between the boatload of candied fruit and the alcohol that provides the backbone as well as a nice refreshing acidity. Comes across as a strong beer, that actually seems more like a sparkling dessert wine, but if served blind, one would never guess at what is the actual alcohol content. This is a masterpiece and by far the best and most drinkable of the competitors for "The Strongest Beer in The World".

Cask at CBF2010. Pours a mahogany colour with no head. The aroma sweet and a little boozy, with notes of raisins, prunes, caramel and port. The flavour is sweet and gently roasted malt, caramel, raisins alcohol and fruit. Its not even close to be so boozy, as I expected - nice!

Draft. An unclear brown beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma has strong notes of alcohol as well as medium notes of caramel, prunes, and dark fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, caramel, prunes, and wood. The body is strong, and the alcohol burns in the throat. Thanks Alex for the big taster of this fine beer.

A Mes rate. Draught at Københavns Ølfestival 2010
Superb stuff. Incredibly smooth considering what it is. Drinks more like 15 than 35%, impressive alcohol hiding skills Alex... A chocolate and coffee dream, proper full on mad and bad. Fruity liquorice and the hit of bitterness is awesome, just awesome. It sits perfectly alongside the big spicy alcohol. Huge brown sugar finish that leaves me licking my lips. Very little burn for a beer of this size. Brilliant.
