Seriously potent bitterness with a series of pungent and resinous aromas. A Dry beer with a slight resinous licorice backbone to it. You got to drink this beer on a full moon night on a West Coast beach (an Italian one will surely do as well).

SELL BY 02/2015 - Pours dark orange with a smooth white head. Aroma of caramel, sweet citrus, toffee, lingering zesty fruity hops and spices. Taste is sweetish, lingering bitter, zesty fruity and citrusy with notes of toffee and caramel. Finish is smooth, fruity and juicy with some sweet resinous citrusy notes and caramely maltiness. Sweet and tasty hop juice.

Bottle from the brewery. Flowery hops, fruit, but everything is pushed aside by inistent piney hops. I love it.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Valkendorfsgate, Bergen, shared with Maltmisjonen. Pours a slightly dark-hued orange body with a medium off-white head. Aroma is rosewater, floral perfumy notes, sweet honey and hints of herbs. Taste is floral heather tones, citrus, orange blossom and hints of nutty caramel. Medium body and carbonation. Decent IPA.

Medium white head. Clear amber body with strong carbonation. Resiny catty oily aroma with peachy wooden orangey notes. Dry-sweet resiny peachy orangey taste with pine needle notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dryish resiny ashy oily aftertaste with pineapple and earth notes. Too harsh for me. (0.33l bottle, from wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

330 ml bottle. Rather hazy orange body with a medium sized, lacing off-white head. Strong hoppy aroma with tropical and citric fruit together with light caramel malt. Flavor is smooth malty, rather bitter and lots of fruit like citric and tropical, some pine, a hint of marmalade, ripe fruit and smooth caramel malt. Fine and balanced in flavor all the way, nice body and long, pleasant bitter aftertaste. Nothing extreme, just incredible balanced and very mooreish.

Appearance: Hazy amber golden color with a fine white head that leaves a nice lacing.
Aroma: Fine grape hoppy, malty and tropical fruity.
Palate: Medium body. Slightly sweet and a fine bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Mild grape hoppy, heavy tropical fruity, bready and a malty back.
Overall impression: Way to sweet fruity!

This is how an IPA should be. Period. It pours a hazy, pale amber body with a small, off-white head that reduces to a fully lasting thin layer after quite some time, and it laces the glass well. Very strong aroma with truckloads of hoppy notes. It’s mainly overripe tropical fruits and grapefruit, but it also has a solid malty backbone with caramel which makes this one smell more like a DIPA than your average super crisp IPA. The taste is moderate sweet and the slightly dry and very long-lasting finish is very heavy bitter. It’s a lovely, powerful and clean bitterness that lingers on and on. Amazing! The flavours are unusually strong, again with DIPA like overripe tropical fruits, grapefruit and malts in the back, but equally obvious are the resin and the juicy pine needles. Far in the back I get a whiff of alcohol. The mouthfeel is close to perfect, a lovely oily texture and medium carbonation, and the moderate carbonation enhances the crisp elements and makes sure that the overripe fruity notes doesn’t take over. A winner!

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2013 330 ml bottle @ Ale & Hop, Barcelona. Pours a deep cloudy amber golden colour with a white head. Aroma is very strong with strong citrusy hops, some herbal notes and mild sweetness. Flavour of pungent citrusy hops, floral notes, mild caramel, pale malts and really nice and round herbal notes. Very big citrusy hoppy finish with pale malts and only a little sweetness. Extremely high drinkability. Hop head?s delight.
