Thanks to Alex! Trying the whole series. Murky amber body with puffy head. Very inviting. Hoppy and soapy nose. Taste is lots and lots of hops, bitter, pines, some slight spicyness and lots of fresh hops. Very creamy and easy texture. Just fantastic.
33cl Bottle from the man himself, cheers Alex! Hazy golden amber colour, white head. Aroma of lots of juicy fresh hops, citrus fruits, grapefruit, pine/resin, lemon. Flavour is light sweet, soft sweet malts, floral, less hoppy and bitter than expected from the nose, nice fresh citrus fruits, light leafy green tea/hops, some grass, nice fruity bitter finish. Smooth, easy drinking beer. Great stuff. Light to medium-bodied. Labove (427) - Rome, ITALY - JAN 18, 2013

Bottle at home. Pours a clear golden with a small off-white head. Dry and bitter with some sweetness. Lots of hops aromas. Aromas of grape-fruit and some spruce. Also some aromas of knækbrød and hints of alcohol. Medium bodied. Medium to soft carbobanation. Bitter finish. cardofab (235) - Teramo- ITALY, ITALY - DEC 15, 2012
Ottima al naso con sentori citrici intensi e luppolo. In bocca é amara, discretamente luppolata, con qualche tonalitá maltata gradevole. Non male.

33cl bottle courtesy of Alex. Slowly gushing upon opening. It pours a clear deep golden / orange colour with a large white head. Surprisingly clear from sediments for being a gusher, good. Aroma evolves over time. Initially fresh and fruity with some citrus notes and loads of apricots. Just a tiny amount of piny hops in there to counter balance the lingering sweetness from the malty backbone, which you can already feel. After few minutes, once warmed up a bit, aroma has turned more towards the malts with notes of nutmeg, pumpkin and a little spiciness (almost clove). Taste follows the same evolution, being extremely refreshing initially, with truckloads of fruity hops on a decent malt backbone to avoid this becoming uber-bitter. Once warmed up for a few minutes, taste as well evolves towards a more rounded and sweet-ish profile, with again pumpkin and spices, and a fresh bouquet of violets and roses. The alcohol is very well hidden and does not factor into your tasting experience at all. Body has a creamy texture to it and carbonation is quite high initially, needs a good swirl! Overall, definitely a very good fresh hop IPA where you can feel the attention that has gone in creating a solid malt backbone to sustain the massive amount of hops. Curious note: when tasted again after almost 2 months (i.e. fresh hops starting to fade) it really resembled a nicely hopped up Belgian blond ale once warmed up. Either way a great beer. It’s just a matter of expectations! lusikka (7819) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 1, 2013
330 ml bottle @ Ale & Hop, Barcelona. Pours a cloudy golden colour with a white head. Aroma of grass, some herbs and citrus. Flavour of strong bitter citrusy hops, mild caramel, some earthiness and heavy maltiness. Medium bodied and a dry, citrusy and highly bitter finish. Great. madsenbryg (371) - Holstebro, DENMARK - JAN 18, 2014

Hazy amber with a white head and a nose you can drown in. Rich resinous hops with underlying ginger, toffee and bergamot. Smooth sweet, carrot and orange, long finish. Shows what European and UK hops can do in the right hands. Quite lively and full bodied, touch of caramalt. Zarin (202) - ITALY - DEC 23, 2012
