Bottle at home. Pours deep brown, too fizzy, sweet chocolate, light dry bitter roast.

gEUS (1637) - Linden, BELGIUM - AUG 20, 2014
750 ml bottle at home - bottled 14/05/2010. Pours light black with a dark hazelnut brown hue; head dissapears quickly. Subtle chocolate roast nose with quite punchy fruit ester aroma’s. Light body, stinges the tongue a bit, bit watery, sweetness kicking through in the middle while rounding off smoothly and sweet. Taste of cold coffee, cocoa milk and some strange cranberry flavour (made me think of Koffola, a Russian/Slovak coca-cola rip-off made of berries). Quite OK.

Appears muddy brown with a small tan head. The smell is roast and milky. The taste is mild roast, fruit, milk, cocoa with a dry slightly bitter aftertaste. Medium body with high level of carbonation. Really surprising 3.5% beer full of taste and flavor.

laiti (8507) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 2, 2013
33 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 23.01.2010
Aroma has roasted notes, some lactic acid and sourness. Flavour is somewhat roasted with somewhat unpleasant savor – probably it is the lactose. Also slight sourness, malty notes and licorice. Too messy but not bad anyway.
