(Draught at Mikkeller Bar - quite probably this one and not the 3 Fonteinen one) Poured amber and cloudy. Head was quite large and white. Aroma contained sourness, fruitiness, black currant leaves and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sourness, black currant leaves, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sour and bitter. Nice experiment.

A Mes rate. Draught at Kbenhavns lfestival 2010.
Hmmm... pretty much my favourite hops blended with the worlds best lambic? Are you kidding me? WIN. Ok, maybe the Girardin was over powered by the epic Nelson Sauvin but its hard to complain. Its hard to write notes for this. Its just a Sauvin lambic and due to that and Alexs brilliant bit of dry hopping, its just bloody brilliant. Maybe the other versions were more subtle and let the Girardin breathe a little more but I drink the base beer often. Brilliant. So brilliant in fact that I can say for certain, I have never been to a festival and forgone so many rates to drink so many glasses of the same beer. I want this dispensed from my fridge. Alex, you rock.

CBF2010: Medium yellow and hazy. Has a white head. Aroma like a typical lambic, acid, moderate sulfur too. Flavor is acidic, some softness too. Dry texture.

Sampled at DE Beerfestival 2010, TAP1. Pours an unclear and light amber beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is acidity and fruit. The flavor is acidity, fruit and flowers. The palate is fresh and fruit. Overall a good beer with a low carbonationlevel.

6th May 2010. Copenhagen Beer Festival. Cloudy gold beer, light suddy head. Crispish dry palate. This one stood out from the rest of this series. The Nelson hops are big enough and bad enough to look after themselves and balance the lemony sourness. The passion fruit and blackcurrant coming through clearly. Nice.
