Bottle 375ml.yespr (47034) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAY 25, 2009
Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, light heavy hoppy, grapefruit, orange, wood notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. IMO the most balanced of the four !
CBF09. 37.5 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a bubbly white head. Aroma is the same as the two others: spiced and herbal fruity. Sweet and fruity and hoppy base flavour. Light wooden acacia astringent note. Dry and bitter finish. The acacia wood gives somewhat of an edge to the beer - interesting. Ungstrup (38238) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAY 26, 2009
Bottled. A golden beer with a huge orangey head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, spices, hops, and citrus. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of spices and alcohol, leading to a finish where notes of acacia appears together with the spices, making it dry and bitter. joergen (28949) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 16, 2009

Hazy yellowish orange colour, small white head. Aroma is big time Nelson Sauvin hops. Flavour is fruity, hoppy, yeasty and also some slight wooden notes. Hides alcohol extremely well, and is very drinkable.
UPDATED: DEC 20, 2010 Recommendation from Casey at Max’s, shared with steptin. Variegated amber color, huge off white head, massive lacing. Aroma of freshly cut green wood - reminded me of spring! Taste is birch bark (but in a good way), earth, slight acidity, hi carbonation, bitter finish. Makes me want to try the others in the series. cgarvieuk (25686) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 22, 2009
UPDATED: MAR 26, 2010 Bottle at GBBF 2009 ... hazy amber ... sweet yeasty frut hop ... toffee ... little woody ... lots of yeast ... little bitter in linger. 3.6omhper (25541) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - SEP 1, 2009
TK2 Bottle at Cloisters tasting ... amber ... light hop ... very ligth barnyard ... little honey nose ... light and fruity ... little floral ... again some honey ... 3.5
Bottled Hazy orange, small head.
The hop aromas are diminished by the wood. Tastes more or less like the reference stuff, just less. Wood aging of double IPAs is always a silly idea.

Copenhagen beer festival. Hazy amber beer, tidy white head. Soft and slightly citrussy fruit. A little tart elderflower like taste in the head and in the finish.

Pine and piss nose! Mmm! Very low carbonation. Creamy malt with pine and spicy orange. The Acasia seems to have rounded things off but any qualities it imparts are subtle.
