Breakfast and Brunettes, two of Ron Swansons favorite things; well, ours too! This Belgian Dubbel has been cold steeped with Ethiopian Yirgacheffe roasted by our close friends at Kudu coffee. This addition of coffee blends seamlessly with the classic Belgian yeast profile and has nuances of strawberries and cream, green pepper, and whispers of roast.

From tap at ADT. Pours clear golden amber. Belgian yeast and coffee notes on the aromas. Flavors add some banana, spice and more coffee. Medium bodied with soft but persistent carbonation. Lightly funked banana finish.

Draft at Upstate. Crystal clear golden color. Aroma of fruity coffee. Taste starts slightly sweet the lightly earthy fruit and subtle bitterness at the finish. Retains its beeriness.

Draftvat source. Reddish brown pour with minimal white head. Taste is mostly coffee up front. Light Belgian yeast character, soft pepper. Nice.

Strong coffee aroma with some Belgian yeast and sugar sweetness. Coffee takes over some of the banana nutty flavors of the Belgian yeast. Full flavored and nice, but the coffee is a bit odd to me in a dubbel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
