Nice slightly hazy golden and peach coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall pure white head that fades relatively quickly. Aroma of wheat, coriander seed, oranges and curacao, some light cloves and bubble gum and a touch of pure yeast on the end. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and very wheatie flavours at first with a dry kick then showing some coriander seed freshness, a little bit of fruits and sugars and ending with an orange and curacao bite with some light spiciness. Aftertaste is very dry, but also pretty refreshing with the pure wheat and yeast noticeable as well, without much bitterness, funk nor astringent flavours at all. Overall, a nice and relatively mellowed german-styled wheat with some good flavours and smooth dryness, but nothing really in terms of complexity at all. Nice to try, but perhaps I was looking for just a touch more - still not a bad beer to sample! I sampled this pint-sized, sixteen ounce can, purchased from GrapeVine in Fort Mill, South Carolina on 21-August-2017 after watching the Eclipse for US$2,55 sampled at home in Washington on 16-September-2017.

appearance: cloudy light gold, one finger of creamy white head, minimal lacing. aroma: sweet banana and bubblegum, hint of skunky grass. taste: sweet banana, pepper, clove, bubblegum, undertone of almost lacto kettle sourness that feels unintentional, with a bit of old-pilsner skunk. finish: sweet, sharpish pepper and skunk, ribbon of sourness. notes: Almost liked it. I actually enjoyed the semi-skunked finish, because it gave a nice, peppery sharpness to the back end that was unusual but fun for the style. The weird sort of sour note undid that for me. Can from The Brew Cellar in Charleston, South Carolina.

From tap. Hazy straw color, with a tight, creamy head fading to a white ring. Fresh aromas, lime, grain, yeast. Flavors follow, citrus, wheat, sour notes. This is light-bodied with fine carbonation and a clean finish. Good summer beer.
