Bottle. Yellow orange pour, no head, and fizzy. Apples, bourbon, char, notes of vanilla, some booze, and somewhat tart and funky. Like other BBA ciders it feels kind of thin. Overall decent.

Bottle - Apple and some honey, vanilla with a touch of funk. Clear gold. Odd apple notes, little funk with sweetness.

Bottle at Reverend Nat’s, pours a hazy pale golden with no head. Aroma brings out notes of bourbon, a touch of vanilla and stewed apples. Flavour is less strong than I would’ve expected. Dry, boozy and lightly funky. Pretty weak and watery, but pleasant.

Bottle @ RBSG 2015. Slightly hazed bronze color with a short lived white head. Smells initially like apple pie and caramel, perhaps some vanilla, too. Lots of sweet cooked fruit and bourbon. Unfortunately, the liquor just overpowers the flavor of this and it just is left tasting like charred wood and booze for the most part. The mouthfeel is also thin and watery.

Bottle shared by Douglas. Thanks! A: Cloudy brown straw. No head. N: Caramel apple, grapefruit, lemon zest. T: Sweet and slightly sour. Surprised given the above nose. M: Medium body, slightly sticky. O: This reminds me quite a bit of a boozed up caramel apple. I think that’s rather a good thing in the fall, near Halloween.

UPDATED: NOV 2, 2014 750 ml bottle from Beermongers. Pours a cloudy brown orange color with a small bubbly white head. A great bourbon sour woody nose. Wonderful huge sour apples with massive bourbon sweet vanilla aromas. Lovely. This is a very good cider.
