COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The art and science of awesome. Somewhat of an anomaly, Doctor Lupulin is brewed with loads of hops but is not too bitter. A high ABV brew that is easy drinking without excessive alcohol heat. Is that mango having a pleasant conversation with dank? Yep. The experiment to create beer perfection is alive.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and pine aroma with light floral notes. Tropical and floral flavor with grapefruit and light alcohol. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Tropical fruit and floral notes linger with pine, light grapefruit, and light alcohol.

Bottle at home. Pours clear copper with a medium, fizzy off-white head, medium retention. Aroma is light grainy malt, heavy citrus, pine and resin hops, and light citrus esters. Flavor is moderate citrus, pine and resin hops, moderate hop bitterness, light sweet malt, light citrus esters, balanced toward the hops, and a dry and prickly finish. Medium-full body, medium carbonation, and medium-light alcohol warmth.

Aromas of big grassy notes, pines, crisp ale yeast, honey, caramel, tangerine, apricot, mango, golden malts and metallic malt syrup. Pours a light golden copper with a thin white foam. Taste brings absurdly well balanced bitter hops, resin, hop oils, butterscotch, honey, sugared tangerine, sugared apricot, sweet papaya and mango upfront. Mid palate gives way to refreshingly crisp ale yeast, candied caramel, golden malts, grain malt, bready malts and slick malt syrup. Finishes very bittersweet with grass, earth, resin, hop oils, honeysuckle, melon and subtle lemon spruce. Overall, this is a really great triple IPA with a lot of flavor to it. Very well balanced with a distinct sweetness to accompany the bitter hops. A rating.

Bomber from Brewers Haven. Orange golden body, small frothy head fades to skin. Hoppy, resinous aroma lets you know you’re in for a hop bomb. Taste leads with the hops, some citrus, orange peel, bitterness without the grimace. Oily, slick feel, warmth throughout. Finish lingers and then slowly fades. Somewhere in the Knee Deep family tree....

Liquid gold. White head is thin, but coats the glass. To say this beer is not bitter is not true. However, the bitterness isn’t sharp like some. Resin, pine, tropical melons; it’s in there.

Tap at Halford. Clear gold with moderate white head. Lots of grassiness and slight heat.

12 oz bottle from Total Wine Summerlin shared with drsordr. Pours a clear golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale toasted malts, caramel, dank, citrus, resiny hops that were bigger on the nose, tropical fruits on the flavor, moderate bitterness to the finish, good.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06 pour avg gold with thin white head. Nose nice big hop, mango, floral, and dank. Taste light sweet malt, tropical fruit, then dank. Moderate bitter finish. Nose bigger than the flavors.

This is a pretty stellar beer. Hoppy for sure, but doesn’t taste of the alcohol. The best triple ipa I’ve had in awhile. (Recently.compared to mother earth big mother and founders doom).
