April 20, 2013 - bottle from my buddy Brett. Brownish orange pour with some head that faded quickly. Aroma was caramel, light fruit, sugar and wood. Taste was consistent with aroma, but had some nice heat that blended well with the sweetness. XmnwildX12 (2079) - Farmington, Minnesota, USA - APR 20, 2013
Bottle from Ryan, nice dark clear amber like apple juice. Aroma is some cinnamon, light wood character, sweet caramel as well. Taste is light fruit, almost apple like, caramel sweetness, very complex, outstanding different profile for a barley wine.

Slightly dark amber pour, little to no head. Big spicy rum nose. Beautiful sweet malt profile, nice spice and heat from the rum on the finish. Really nice Barleywine, certainly on the sweet and boozy side. Ibrew2or3 (8860) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JUL 1, 2013
Share courtesy of dak. It pours with a clear amber body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up mostly sweet dark fruity esters with prunes and figs and dates as well as some sugary smelling malts. In the background is a touch of oak. The taste is smooth with just the right amount of boldness. I get plums, raisins and figs to go along with a mild sense of sugar coated bitter hops and spicy rye bread. Deep in the background are notes of smooth sweet rum-y goodness and oak. Darn nice stuff. Great sipper as all the flavor notes come together wonderfully and build a smooth nectar rich like bridge to flavor paradise. burg326 (5613) - Florida, USA - MAY 3, 2013

Bomber. Pours a caramelly brown with a thin off white head, so-so retention. Nose is big on sweets: malt, caramel, rum, brown sugar. Mouth is big and creamy, boozy warmth intermingling with toffee, vanilla, jaggery (Indian unrefined sugar), dates, rum... Sweet and dessert-like, would be perfect for the holidays. Outstanding brew. neepsntatties (2061) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 23, 2015
Bottle shared by "hannont". Colour...very cloudy amber with a thin ecru head. Nose...incredibly boozy (rum of course) with oaky notes and vanillin. Palate...sharp, pungent and rummy with gobs of dates and dark brown sugar. The whole palate feels thick and cloying and the alcohol provides a continuous warmth. The finish is long, oaky and boozy. b3shine (9187) - Indiana, USA - FEB 9, 2013
Draft to snifter at Dutch’s. Looks solid; an opaque dark reddish-brown with sticky off-white head that dissipates into lacing. Smells good too; sweet and boozy with a nice vanilla undertone. Dangerously drinkable too. This is good beer! DrSilverworm (9672) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 9, 2013
Snifter on tap. Thin off-white head. Mostly clear orange / red / amber color. Decent lace. Bigger body. Dry texture. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Awesome aroma... Really nice amount of rum barrel here, not too strong, works well with the wheat barley wine. Great caramel malts, spice, toasty malts, some (tropical) fruity hops. Sweet, light bitter taste. Little warmth in the finish, but no bite here. Really good stuff now. I plan on getting more. Should age awesomely. aracauna (3692) - Georgia, USA - FEB 23, 2013
Sweet malty. Honey. A lot of sweet flavors, but not too sugary. Good stuff, though.
