COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A citrusy and refreshing Belgian-style pale ale hopped with Cascade, Citra, and whole Crystal hops for massive aromas and flavors! Fermented with our Belgian Wit yeast for an extra dose of complexity, this one is very drinkable and extremely aromatic.

Per Wil Turner, this is a second runnings beer from Institutionalized Barleywines runoff.

Can from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Overripe citrusy nose, cat piss, and yeast. Bright orange/amber color. Heavy zesty citrus nose, little shouts of bittering and pepper in mid palate, and rather deep bitter tracks in final. Medium nody, with some hop/yeast bite. Tasty, but with distinct flavors that dont quite meld.

UPDATED: APR 24, 2015 12/17/2013: Revolution A Little Crazy... Well, this beer tastes exactly like the style it?s labeled to be, a Belgian Pale Ale. At first sip, the Belgian yeast spice, caramel/fruitcake malt, and fleshy fruits come through and then the citrusy, melon, and FLORAL hops layer in on top. There is a suggestion of tropical fruits as well and the biterness level is moderate which is right on for the style. This beer is on point and quite easy to quaff, but nothing special and sadly, easily forgettable. 22 fl. oz. bottle shared by dirhauge. Score = 3.2. Thanks Paul! UPDATE 4/23/2015... Better out of the can. Score = 3.4.

Really good; one of the best Belgian IPAs Ive had. Clear dark amber color, cream colored relatively long lasting head and some lace. Aroma is malt and fresh hops. Flavor is a perfect blend of malt fresh Hops bitterness a little bit of sweetness and carbonic tang.

Draft at Belgian Fest. Glad I had a chance to finally try this one. Nose is huge hops, really fresh and citrusy, tropical fruit from the Citra. Light Belgian yeast, tart note. Some noted pepper notes and grain. On tasting, medium-high bitterness, clean and deep. Nice malt balance and fruity hops. Tropical qualities are really nice. Great stuff.

12oz can from dmac! Thanks bro! Pours a clear dark golden color with a thick frothy white head. Aroma of sweet citrus, orange zest, grapefruit, caramel malt, and a faint hint of Belgian yeast. Taste is more Belgian forward. Banana, yeast, caramel malt, dough, orange zest, grapefruit, and herbal hops.

Not sure what the deal is on this one... Had this via growler when it was originally released.. Aroma was bright with tropical fruit forwardness, somewhat dank and extremely bright... Flavor on the other hand didnt contribute as much. Semi-sweet crystal malt it seems with a semi-fresh citrus hop sensation that really didnt live up to its nose. Just shy of medium bodied with adequate carbonation. Pretty drinkable overall with a nose that quite I overcame the flavor. Def needs to be consumed fresh.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a crystal clear, darker gold colored body with a thin, frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is a nice mix of fruity hops and yeast. Crisp citruses, some florals, light grass, tropical fruits, a few yeasty esters, and some dry herbal notes. Pale malt backing with some doughy yeast and a touch of spice. Flavor is similar. Tropical fruits, citrus, and a light Belgian yeast note up front. Dry grass, florals, and a pale malt backing come in during the middle with some doughy yeast and herbal hops showing up at the end. Finishes dry and clean with a light bitterness. Nice dry citrus, tropical fruit, pale malt, light Belgian yeast balance in a medium length aftertaste. Light body with a moderate carbonation. Overall, a really nice pale ale. Crisp and fruity hops with nice dryness balanced well with a light pale malt backing and light Belgian yeast influence. Very enjoyable beer.
