Clear gold with orange hues and a small white head. The aroma is mainly Belgian yeast esters and spice, with an underlying mango and citrus hop notes. The flavor is quite nice. There is a nice biscuity malt note, some caramel, American hops, and Belgian yeast. Well balanced all around. Very tasty.
Clear medium golden color. Interesting aroma, has some sourish notes as well as a touch of wit, with banana & cloves. An odd mesh of flavors, sweet malts up front, followed by the tangy wit flavor with a crisp bitter follow. Single 12floz can (COD 12.13.2017, $1.50/unit), tulip glass. This is a great looking Belgian pale ale; deep golden haze and a sticky frothy white head. Old World yeast and New World hops compose a floral, soft citrus, and citrus zest aroma. Palate presents greats balance, and feels lighter than its 6.8% ABV. Pours a crystal clear yellow with a white foamy head. Great lacing left on the small 5oz glass. Tasted at Yard House outside of Chicago
Aroma is light and fruity with a sweet passion fruit note.
Taste is lightly sweet with a mango note to it. Being a wheat beer, it doesn’t come with tremendous hoppiness. Instead its nicely offset.
Smooth and refreshing - reminds me of Pyramid Apricot Wheat

Pour is a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is like candied peaches. All candi sugar and peaches. Flavor is fruity with more peach and some elderflower herbal-ness. A little dash of coriander or orange peel would really make this great. It is fine as it is though, plenty fruity and refreshing.

Canned 01/16/17. The appearance is a medium sized fizzy white head that mostly diminished, transparent gold body, lively, fast rising carbonation observed, and spotty lacing. The aroma is citrus hops, tropical fruit, grapefruit, juicy, spicy, yeast, and malt. The flavor presents moderate bitterness, citrus hops, tropical fruit, grapefruit, yeast, lightly sweet, and malt. The mouthfeel is light-moderate carbonation and this beer is light-medium bodied. A very good tasting beer for its style. This is a Belgian IPA. Pours a hazy golden with a taller rocky eggshell foam that leaves a stringy collar of lace. Nose involves spicy yeast and citrus, florals (lilac), musty cobweb, passion fruit, and lightly toasted malt. Fairly sweet, decently bitter. Medium bodied, oily, drying leafiness, active, vaguely juicy, with a drying bitter hop and yeasty finish. It’s not bad, but it’s too hoppy. 12 ounce can from Valli Produce in Rockford, IL, consumed a little too cold from a Duvel glass. Pours a bright, slightly oily gold-amber with a huge glass-filling bubbly white meringue head that decays very slowly and laces thickly...gorgeous fruity-herbal nose, mangos soaked in tarragon and thyme, with a bit of that Wit bubblegum and baking spice character, a bit of banana, a hint of coriander, intoxicating and almost perfume-like...on the tongue a lovely balance is noted immediately, a reasonably strong sweetness appears but the yeasty undertones and the light but forceful citrusy hops alongside a nice bit of burnt and toasty malt gives this an interesting and somewhat unexpected complexity; there’s also a touch of German wheat character here, and if there’s a flaw it’s that on the finish the bitterness is a bit acrid and unpleasant at first, though this largely dissipates when you let it warm to near room temp. The carbonation is strong and tingly, and the body is quite full, hefty even, but just misses out on having a bloating feeling and isn’t in the least syrupy. This has become one of my go-to beers over the past few weeks and I’m on about my 4th six-pack; easily the best beer I’ve had from this brewery so far and one of the best everyday-drinking Beligan styled ales available here. trapped (3150) - New York, TURKEY - MAR 10, 2017
Draught @ Malt and Mold. Slightly cloudy golden with small foamy off-white head, faint vanilla aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter hoppy taste with little Belgian yeast characteristics, thin body, longish medium bitter finish. Nice brew, hops obliterate the Belgian a bit.
