Multi hued copper with a huge, creamy white head. Light grain nose. Pale malt taste with a nice bitter backend complimented by flavors of toffee and toasted nuts. Smooth feel. Very sessionable. DoublEE (782) - South Euclid, Ohio, USA - OCT 18, 2012
Taste of the toasty, bready, and toffee-tinged English malts. Earthy hops provide a touch of flavor and some mild bitterness, but thankfully the astringent tea flavor is gone. It’s got that quintessential liquid bread vibe that English ales tend to have. NobleSquirrel (3438) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 11, 2012
Nitro at Revolution. Pours a deep golden amber with a creamy off white head. Nose is fruity and herbal. Citrus peel and toasty malts. Somewhat restrained by nitro. On tasting medium bitterness and a rich and toasty malt profile. Quite clean with more citrus peel. Really refreshing and fantastic. I bet it’s great on cask. On nitro at the brewpub. Pours a crystal clear, golden amber colored body with an inch thick, dense and creamy, beige head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is somewhat fruity with melons and light citruses as well as a slightly toasted toffee malt backing. Touches of earth as this warms. Flavor is similar. Lightly toasted toffees with a light sweetness, melon fruits with some citrus notes, and a light earth. Finishes clean, smooth, and very lightly bitter before leaving a fairly lengthy aftertaste. Medium-light body and a creamy, soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid ESB. Very clean and easy drinking with a solid malt flavor. Nice one. drewbeerme (3920) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 20, 2012

Amber in color with a beige head. Sweet toffee malts and nice citrus hops. Medium bodied and quite drinkable. Finish is not too dry. Tmoney99 (14768) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 8, 2012
Draft. Poured clear dark amber hue with an average frothy off-white head that Mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate aroma of toasted dark malt. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Well balanced flavor of roasted dark malt a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a solid brew.

On tap at brewery today. (The bartender said this was from their last remaining keg). Pours an almost clear reddish amber with a huge white head and some lacing. Aroma has floral hops, lemon, bready malts, and perhaps orange peel. Medium body and average carbonation. Taste is not as bitter as I had expected, but has the bready malts and a long clean finish. An easily drinkable, good but not great beer. Dogbrick (13388) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 18, 2012
Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a clear amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt and hops. Medium body with flavors of caramel malt, herbal hops and touches of fruit. The finish is sweet with a nutty and malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
