Pours a slightly hazy, dark golden amber color with copper colored edges and a one finger white head that quickly settles into a thin, lasting ring. Decent retention with sporadic streaks and spots of soapy lacing left behind.
Earthy floral hop aroma with juicy buds and earthy resins countered by sweet tropical/citrus fruit and a sweet caramel malt backbone. Fresh cut grass, kind buds and sticky resins countered by some grapefruit, pineapple and citrus rind. Incredibly fresh and dank smelling. Sweet malt backbone with caramel, bread, biscuit and toffee. Great freh hop presence in the nose.
Full body with a blast of dry, earthy bitterness that’s countered by sweet tropical fruit hop notes and a prominent caramel malt backbone. Dry and sticky wih earthy resins, grassy pine and spruce tip but the strong malt backbone comes in mid palate to balance things out. Tart grapefruit along with some orange zest and faint citrus. Caramel and toffee sweetness with biscuit and dark bread. Malt is a bit stronger than I prefer but it’s nicely balanced and easy to drink with decent hop character. dlovell2 (2143) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - NOV 29, 2015
Copper with white head. Aroma is fruity caramel malt with pine. Fruity start with caramel malt, some citrus and pine finish. rjplumer (1098) - Foxboro, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 27, 2015
A moderate citrus and pine aroma. Light hazy copper body with a respectable half inch head on top. Has a nice bitter bite with light fruit sweetness to balance it out. Leaves light sweet fruit in the finish. Very enjoyable IPA. DW78715816 (119) - Kansas, USA - NOV 15, 2015
Very smooth. Good hop and malt balance. A good solid IPA but nothing that separates it fro the enormous pack.

Can. Nice gold pour with thin white head. Aroma is nice and hoppy, lots of grassy hop notes, tropical notes, nice citra/galaxy aroma. Taste is lightly bitter, nice juicy hoppy flavor, very fruity, light grass. Palate is light bodied with good carbonation. Tasty.

Pours a clear golden color with a whiye head. Aroma is of hops, citrus, bread, and a little skunk. Heavy and bubbly palate. Flavor is the same. Very fresh hops and citrus come through. Leaves a nice citrus hop finish. degbert (1773) - Austin, Texas, USA - NOV 10, 2015
Can, from the great Central Texas Bonfire Chicago Area IPA Taste-Off. Pours deep amber-orange with a high, foamy, lacy, off-white head. Nose is grapefruit, lime, lavender, and just a touch of smoke. Sweet on the very front of the tongue, then with some bitterness; the sweet returns, with stone fruit and honey and a little bit of smoke. I don’t know why, but this beer makes me think of really good waffles. Finish goes completely dry and extremely bitter, with mouth-parching astringency. Nummy. migwell (365) - Massachusetts, USA - NOV 10, 2015
Can poured into tulip. Copper colored, no head to mention, aroma of the predominant hops. Spectacularly ugly graphics on the can. This is a very hop forward brew, with whatever malt is present (the beer part) overwhelmed almost completely by the bitter part, the all to usual American IPA story. Not citrusy either nor fruity, it is a mildly carbonated hop broth, served chilled. Not complaining, as I like the style, but there appear to be thousands of clones available these days. This is a decent one, and quite drinkable. Digging the Turboninja’s comments below, where he seems to like this brew, but rates it a .5! Counting error? deekyn (1459) - San Francisco, California, USA - NOV 4, 2015
A- pours a lightly hazy apple juice brown with a solid finger of frothy eggshell white head. Good lacing.
S- sweet caramel and dank passion fruit hops. Lemons, coriander and kiwis. Fresh baked sourdough and damp wood. Warm, overripe apples. Some oranges and faint cloves.
M- medium sticky body some butting alcohol. Great active carb.
T- lots of caramel malts and citrus up front. Lemons, passion fruit, brown sugar, apples, honeydew melons. Orange candies. You can ride the hops from start to finish. Breads. Ending is dankness and more malts. Some bitter zinc and dirty lemon pith. Finish is smooth and sustained. Turboninja (763) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 3, 2015

The Tavern, Cleveland, USA. Light/medium slightly sour aroma w. hoppy fruits. Yellow color with small artificially white head. Semi-hazy liquid. Semi-balanced. Medium taste with bit bitter, slightly sour notes of fruits and some malts. Medium taste spectrum and long/medium aftertaste with hoppy fruits. Medium/light body with medium/high carbonation. Overall bit too bitter but nice quality IPA.
