COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship IPA is supremely aromatic, crisp, and drinkable. This iconic ale features a blend of Chinook, Centennial, Crystal, and Citra to create a crisp clean bitterness and imparts massive floral and citrus aromas. The Warrior hop is also used to add additional bitterness to the brew.
An American hop assault for all the ambivalent warriors who get the girl in the end. “Look, I ain’t in this for your revolution, and I’m not in it for you, Princess.”

Bottle, trade with jtjager. Pours with a low dense head, mild piney hop aroma, was expecting more there. Flavor is pretty mild in terms of hops, and lacking interesting notes. Slight lemon notes, thin palate.

Tap at a pizza joint in Chicago.

Warm amber pour, nice off-white head. Massive hop nose, piney and old-school and leafy. Flavor is rich and intense, tons of hop resin, to the point that I thought maybe this was an around 9% IIPA. But no, all this packed into 6.5. Solid!

Rich amber-orange color, relatively thick head. Aroma is juicy, grassy, some pine, mango, pineapple. Flavor is rich and complex; a little sweet, then bitter hops on the end. It’s like all the different flavor profiles from hops coming together in one beer - fruity, grassy, dank, some savory herb flavor, some vegetable flavor too. Lots of body but very drinkable. A really solid offering; one of the best IPA’s that can easily be found in the Chicago/Midwest area.

Pours almost clear orange but on closer look you might see some grains. Head is Thick with about 2 inch head. Nose: hops and fruits. Mouth is light but full. Taste: hops, pines, citrus, fruity with malts to balance the hops. Fruity flavor is somewhat like hint of pineapple. smooth and nice to have. Overall like ability is good! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

can. slightly hazy orange under a medium, frothy, white head. aroma of crystal malt and citrus hops. a generous amount of sweetness. crystal and honey like sweetness with light toasty breadiness. fruity citrusy hop profile goes well with the intense maltiness of the beer, but it nearly gets swallowed up. . this is definitely not a dry airy west coast style beer, buts its a great example of a beefy cold mid west ipa. medium bodied, yet finishes attenuated enough to drink a few together or with a meal. quite a niche!

12 oz can from Lalo’s at MDW Airport. Canned on 1/13/2015. Amber with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, floral, caramel, biscuit. Tastes of caramel, citrus, biscuit, toasty notes, malt. Has a bit of an aged hop flavor even though it’s only about a month old. Medium body with a dry finish.
