My Bottom Line:Kroney (255) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 14, 2014
This classic American IPA showcases citrus fruit and floral honey in a lean and super clean profile, set in solid bitterness.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sliver of foam laces nicely around the shiny dark golden.
-This may not be the most memorable IPA, but it sure hits the spot.
-This is quenching.
-The mouthfeel is refined.
On tap at the Milwaukee Avenue location.
Tap at Lou Malnati’s on Rush. Aroma is grapefruit, strawberry jam, biscuit malt, hay. Appearance is clear dark orange with minimal head. Taste is mostly bitter grapefruit with some pine. Palate is clean. Really good beer. vmilaxer29 (412) - Virginia, USA - NOV 9, 2014
Poured from can to glass. Golden hue with fizzy white head that dissipated to a ring. Aroma is melon, grapefruit, tangerine, pine, honey, cereal. Taste is sweet initially with a bitter following that blends with a nutty finish. Overall this is an interesting IPA that is more grainy tasting than your typical representation. maekchu (3893) - Hirakata, JAPAN - NOV 9, 2014
Tap at AQ Bevolution 2nd Anniversary event at Yellow Ape Craft. Balanced nose, peachy, caramel, citrusy hopping. Clear medium amber color. Creamy caramel initial, very juicy hopping in mid, back to sweet malt in late mid and final. Medium body. Nice and chewy. Good balance, though it does get a bit sweet in final. A good standard IPA, juiced up a bit. KyotoLefty (10254) - Kyoto, JAPAN - NOV 8, 2014
Tap at Yellow Ape. Sweet stone fruits, oranges and peaches. Strong bitterness. Deep golden-orange color. A bit too bitter, but decent.

On tap at the AQ Bevolution x Yellow Ape Event. New to Japan is Revolution Brewing’s Anti-Hero IPA. A light copper gold with minimal head and a juicy fruity hop bouquet. The taste is a clean bitterness, herbal, earthy pint with some light spice biscuity character from the malts. A nice solidly satisfying IPA. Carlisle (743) - Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 7, 2014
Can. Copper color with off-white head and substantial lacing. Pine aroma. Grapefruit, citrus, and pine balanced by malt. Slightly resiny finish.

Can. Pours clear golden with nice bright white head. Nose is floral and a little citrus. Taste is citrus and pine. The right amount of sweetness. Nice IPA. Thechasm442 (1005) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 6, 2014
Fresh can served in a tulip. Beer pours a a hazy orange with a fingers worth of white head that shrinks down and leaves decent lacing. Aroma is grassy, citrus, pine resin, and a bit of caramel. Taste is very hoppy up front. Pine resin, grapefruit, and orange peel, mixed with a caramel and toffee malt backbone. It is very well balanced and super refreshing. It sticks to your mouth and makes you want more. A great IPA. Terminus (3683) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - NOV 6, 2014
Tap a few times on my trip back to Chicago/Rockford Nov 2014
Pours bright orange very lite with a nice soapy white head and good lacing from the start. Nose is very floral and citric-mostly flowery hops here. nothing really all that special but still solid. Flavors are all citrus and floral. Again nothing really special here however solid C-hops and some floral flowery, slightly leafy notes. body is somewhat lite but not in a bad way. Easy to session this brew bigtime!
