Tap at Revolution. Light gold pour with a white clingy head. Fruity aroma with peppery spice. Taste is fruity/lemon, herbal and spicy. Nice.

XmnwildX12 (2079) - Farmington, Minnesota, USA - JUL 5, 2012
Has huge over powering banana/clove with spice scents. Taste is rather fruity and spicy, rather dry finish, not a fan. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very different beer. Fruity smell. Darker yellow pour with sticky white head. Lots going on with the taste I can't put my finger on. But somehow comes out good. Yeasty? Peppery? I think! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy yellow pour with a white head. Loads of fruit in the nose, apples, pears, apricots, some nice yeasty qualities. Flavor is fruity, a bit dry and a great yeasty finish. Good stuff!

At FWIBF, Hazy and golden pour, Yeasty and grass aroma, Fruity, citrus with a some alcohol in the finish. Not great, but pretty good and a little different.

hombrepalo (1972) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 6, 2012
Pint pour int a plastic cup at the grand opening. Pours light hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is honey and tropical fruit, with sweet agave nectar. Drier taste, with apple juice, white grape, honey and a mineral and yeast finish. Smooth and lightly slick in the mouth.

On tap at the curragh in Skokie, pours a medium orange, opaque, with a innish white head. Spicy alcohol aroma like a good Belgian. Flavor is strng and mouthy alcohol and some sort of citrus hint.

Just the right level of spice and earthiness. It’s not often that I chose to drink a saison over an i.p.a. but this was my pick over Revolution’s Anti-Hero.

GuinnessHong (147) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 12, 2012
Had this on tap at The Curragh Irish Pub in Skokie, Illinois. Made notes on the spot using BeerJournal app for Android. Served in a tulip glass. Poured a dark golden clear. Medium head with medium dissipation time. Low carbonation. Taste is slightly bitter and astringent. Hoppy, with lingering bitter aftertaste.

Sammy (13106) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 10, 2012
Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub. Decent and serviceable though not exceptional saison. This batch weighed in at 8.1%. It hits the style, apple flavour commingles with orange and grapefruit. Lacey, farmhouse aroma.
