On tap at the Bavarian Lodge in Lisle, IL., and served to house stemware showing a hazed, orangy gold color, modest, soft white head foam that reduced quickly to a ring & film, and left some light, wavy lacing on the glass. The nose was light yeast, mid-fruit as apricot/peach, citrus as orange, and light spiciness. The flavor presented soft malt, some alcohol warmth, a moderate, lingering hop bitterness, with earthy & peppery notes. The body was medium, with good effervescence, and pleasant dryness complemented the bitter finish. Spot on style interpretation. smith4498 (3646) - Winter Springs, Florida, USA - SEP 13, 2012
Bottle from a trade with Pawola22. Pours hazy pale orange color with white head. Grassy and earthy aromas with doughy yeast and spices. Doughy and spicy flavor with some grassy hops and some other spices. Medium body with lively carbonation. Thanks Brian. ads135 (4607) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - SEP 12, 2012

S: Belgian yeast, lemon citrus, clove, banana, and orange peal - all musty and spicy
A: Hazy amber, a head that quickly dissipates leaving little laciing
T: Very tasty! Belgian yeast and spice, orange and lemon
P: Fizzy carbonation, medium bodied
O: This is a bold saison, kudos Revolution. Scipio (1077) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - SEP 3, 2012
Pours a golden with weaker white head. Aroma has orange, lemon, spices, and grass. Kind of has a bubblegumish impression as well. Taste is quite fruity and is powerful in the orange flavor. Still spicy and grassy while containing something else, I believe clove. Peppery as well. Rather strong aftertaste of oranges and lemon. Medium bodied with a thinner texture. On the sweeter side. Overall, I’m pretty happy with this.

22 oz bottle purchased from West Lakeview in Chicago. Poured a nice gold with minimal white head. A very nice spiciness in it, definitely not overwhelming but certainly delicious. I really liked this. oc4111 (119) - USA - AUG 31, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. This was different than other saisons I’ve had. Didn’t get much of the Belgian farmhouse funk. A bit more on the sweet side more Orange and tangerine than peppery spice. Still, not a bad one. Steve_0 (3745) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 29, 2012
Bottle at Dan’s, courtesy of Armin. Big thanks man! Pour is hazy lemon in appearance with a small white head that quickly dissipated. Tart lemon peel, wheat, white pepper, light pineapple, yeast, and pear in the aroma. Taste is very spicy, bread, pepper, light pineapple, booze, citrus, and band-aid. Nice. Mouthfeel is medium with high carbonation. Pretty tasty stuff. dlinn (141) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 29, 2012
Light but somewhat boozy aroma. Initially somewhat boozy flavor as well, but dissipates after a few sips. Light, malty flavor. Not bad. cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - AUG 29, 2012
Bottle @ Dan’s house, courtesy of Armin. Thanks a bunch! Light golden orange appearance with a white head. Orange, floral, potpourri, a bit spicy, light straw, tasty aroma. Tangy, spicy, lemon/tangerine, a bit spicy yeasty, straw/grassy, very refreshing flavor. Fairly dry. Super easy drinking and fun to drink.
