650 ml bottle courtesy of josh. Thanks. Pours a hazy yellow color with a big sudsy white head that has good retention. The aroma is big with Belgian yeasts, spices, floral and white fruits. The taste is spicy and fruity with pears, peaches, pepper, coriander and citrus. The palate is full and smooth with soft carbonation. Finishes long and dry. Overall: Solid saison

The tulip glass as suggested is the perfect choice. The aroma is one the most complex I have recalled. caramel with nuts, perhaps bread as well. Bit of citrus to the hops with a floral aroma the alcohol is very well hidden. Golden color with small white head nothing spectacular. medium light bitter taste seems very sweet. full bodied beer that means business thick slick texture with a long finish. Overall probably a great beer if it is your style. Unfortunately it is not mine. I don’t really care for a spiced type brew so it is my personal taste that score this so low for a quality brew

Location: Draft at Primebar, 7/1/14

Aroma: The nose is yeast and spice, some citrus/fruity notes as well
Appearance: it pours a clear golden-orange color with a small white head and lace
Flavor: The taste is much the same, spice and fruit, light sweet, light-mid bitter
Palate: The body is medium, it has a solid mouthfeel, and a plus carbonation
Overall Impression: Solid, drinkable saison. Definitely worth trying, and makes for a nice sping/summer happy hour beer.

On tap @ Revolution. Orange pour with a white head. Clove and white pepper spiciness, but lots of sweet bread, apple, and pear. Fair amount of sugar and bubblegum, too. Flavor is way too sweet. Bread, apple, and pears. Bubblegum and banana esters as well. Light pepper, some clove, and a bit of nutmeg. Not bad, but not really a saison.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours light hazy deep gold color with a 2 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with some moderate streaming carbonation. Aromas of big apricot, lemon, peach, pear, apple, light banana, clove, coriander, herbal, wheat, bread, grass, light pepper, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and earthy hop notes; with good strength. Taste of apricot, lemon, peach, pear, apple, light banana, clove, coriander, wheat, bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Light amount of earthy yeast spice/hop bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of apricot, lemon, peach, pear, apple, light banana, clove, coriander, wheat, bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, balance, and robustness of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and earthy hop flavors; with a great yeast/malt balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice French saison. All around good complexity and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a near clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of sweet light grains with a bit of Belgian yeast and light fruits. Flavor is similar with sweet light earthy fruits, sweet grains and a nice Belgian yeast.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden amber with a gigantic puffy off-white head that makes it a pain in the butt to pour. Head lasts a long time and leaves big sticky lacing on the glass. Aroma is honey, grassy, pepper, rye spiciness. Flavor is light sweet, peppery, hay, yeasty esters; a bit fruity. Dry finish, minimal bitterness. Medium light body, high carbonation.

Sampled at brewpub. Came in the glass a hazy gold with a wisp of a white head. Nose of funk. Medium body. Flavor is ripe fruit and barnyard. Some spice in finish Good.
