Scopey (14523) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 23, 2015
Bottle shared in NH. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is rather sweet, bready, sweetcorn, candy, popcorn, light spice, hay and straw. The taste is crisp, lightly bitter, sweetish, sweetcorn, light spice, bread and icing sugar with some sweetness on the finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Too sweet for my liking. Found the sweetcorn vibe off-putting after a while. Not for me...

Tmoney99 (14381) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 11, 2012
Tap. Poured a clear orange golden color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate hop and yeast aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. I would highly recommend this to a friend.

UPDATED: OCT 19, 2010 Sample at the brewpub. This beer pours a cloudy yellow-gold color with a medium thin white head that recedes quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of mildly spiced hops and fruit. Light body with flavors of hops, bready malt, sweet fruit and yeast. The finish is sweet spices and fruit with a yeast aftertaste. Decent Saison overall.
