The beer is fairly hazy, appearing copper to orange hued with an off-white head. The aroma offers malt, sweet and sour apples, green, earth. Earth and mineral water character. Perhaps a mild tartness. Medium bodied, finishing dry with a hint of spice. Overall, this was okay. smith4498 (3646) - Winter Springs, Florida, USA - SEP 13, 2012
Bottle from a trade with Pawola22. Pours hazy pale orange color with white head. Grassy and earthy aromas with doughy yeast and spices. Doughy and spicy flavor with some grassy hops and some other spices. Medium body with lively carbonation. Thanks Brian. chibuck (3513) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 27, 2011
The beer pours a cloudy orange with a nice white head, good retention and lacing.
The aroma is light, a little more citrus than you would expect in a saison, with a little wheat, and a slight bitter finish. The server described as super sweet, it was sweet for a saison but not super sweet, nor do I think its a traditional saison.
The taste is also pretty light starting off with some citrus, then finishes with a slight sour bitter finish.
Decent feel, nice carbonation and a fine dry finish.
Overall, pretty good, a sweeter take on a saison.

Flattish amber golden pour. Smell is appa joose, candy sweetness, some banana, and black pepper. Taste is too sweet and malty with some more appa joose. Fair to not good. NobleSquirrel (3438) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 22, 2010
Draft at Revolution. Pours a glowing, slightly hazy gold with fluffy offwhite head. Nose is nice, though a touch of cloves is not quite right. Fresh hops jump out, as well as citrusy and spicy notes. On taste, it is full flavored and full bodied with notes of the spicy hops shooting through with a quenching bitterness. Finishes dry. Damn fine saison, this one.

Sampled at the Midwest Belgian Beer Fest. Lemon, spicy, malty flavors. Very nice saison. This was my favorite beer at the Midwest Belgian Beer Fest. pantanap (3366) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 27, 2010
Tap at rev... Pours a seemingly glowing tangerine orange with a quickly fading frothy white head... Assertive aroma of bright citrus notes, tangerine, and a touch of yeast... Flavors maintain that citrus profile which quickly develops into more of a hoppy earthy drying bitterness with some pepper in the finish. Outside of some prickly pepper, not much else in terms of spice. Carbonation pretty lively which seems to be a common trend... Not bad at all. willisread (3349) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - APR 23, 2016
Tap at C&R. Big classic saison yeasty nose. Lemon and biscuity malts. Overly sweet on the palate. Gets kind of boozy on the palate and through the finish. Some pepper and sweetness on the finish. Classic American saison: too boozy and too sweet. Capa (3299) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - MAR 6, 2013
Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet fruits, spicy hops and yeast, earthy, lemon zest. Medium body. Flavor has an initial sweetness that dissolves into a nice zesty, spicy, earthy tone. Very enjoyable saison. madvike (3264) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 26, 2011
On cask at GTMW - Hazy yellow pour with a white head. Light spice on the nose, with some funk and a bit of fruit, most notably apricot. Taste is light fruit, yeasty goodness, and a light malt base. Smooth and well-carbonated.
