Pours a cloudy golden-orange with poofy white head forming at the top of the tulip glass. that leaves nice lacing in its wake. Aroma is spicy, herbal, and hoppy presumably from the dry-hop process -- a little out of character for the style. Flavor is crisp, big, and similarly herbal, spicy, meadow-y, and with quite a bit of hop bitterness -- not "IPA" bitter, but a lot more so than one would expect from the style. A light dose of sweet malt floats around in there somewhere. Medium-to-solid mouthfeel with a lightly sweet but mostly herbal-hoppy aftertaste. Interesting but I’m not sure I’d order it again; it was a little to hop-aggressive for me and IMO that element didn’t mesh well with the otherwise soft and gentle flavors of a saison.
Pour is a murky tan with a large white head. Aroma is very fruity with some yeast and hops. Flavor starts out with very spicy hops and follows with a bit of lemon grass. Finish is a bit dry and thin. Tap. Pours lightly hazy orange with a medium, fizzy white head, short retention and light lacing. Aroma is medium malt (straw, toast, meal), earthy hops, light fruity esters, and barnyard notes. Pint pour int a plastic cup at the grand opening. Pours light hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is honey and tropical fruit, with sweet agave nectar. Tap at Revolution. Light gold pour with a white clingy head. Fruity aroma with peppery spice. Taste is fruity/lemon, herbal and spicy. Nice.

Sampled at the Midwest Belgian Beer Fest 2012 - pours clear-ish yellow with a white head. The aroma has earthy yeast, rich malt and Belgian yeast fruitiness. It has a medium / full body with a mild amount of soft carbonation. The flavor starts a bit warm with earthy mushy maltiness along with the aroma traits. Draft at Revolution Brewing, Chicago. Pours hazy dark golden with an off white head.. Aroma of peppery saison yeast, malt, fruit, caramel and citrus. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Very malty for the style.
