The beer pours a cloudy orange with a nice white head, good retention and lacing.
The aroma is light, a little more citrus than you would expect in a saison, with a little wheat, and a slight bitter finish. The server described as super sweet, it was sweet for a saison but not super sweet, nor do I think its a traditional saison.
The taste is also pretty light starting off with some citrus, then finishes with a slight sour bitter finish.
Decent feel, nice carbonation and a fine dry finish.
Overall, pretty good, a sweeter take on a saison.

On tap at the pub. Pours a beautiful bright pale golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma is nice and softly spicy, some easy sweet grainy and lightly floral notes. The hops are there and a touch spicy but mostly on the herbal side, creating an easy soft nose. Flavor is well rounded, moderately spiced and a touch hoppy, a slight citric note. Holds a light grainy straw character throughout before and earthy herbal finish. Medium body and an active carbonation. Nice saison, very refreshing. On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy, brighter orange colored body with an inch thick, dense and creamy, beige head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing throughout. Aroma is pretty fruity with some juicy citrus tangerines, pears, sweeter florals, soft spices, yeasty earth, a light banana, and some sweeter malts with a light caramel and grain. Flavor is similar. Lots of juicy fruits up front with a good amount of sweet tangerines, oranges, pears, melons, and floral fruits. Nice yeasty spice and earth to balance along with a light grass, some banana, and a touch of bubblegum. Some grainy, medium sweet malts add to a rounded balance. Finishes dry and fruity with a nice spicing and light-medium bitterness. Lengthy, spicy and citrusy aftertaste following a medium body and fairly lively carbonation that works well with the juicy fruits and spices. Overall, a nice saison. Enjoyed on tap at Revolution Brewery in Chicago, IL while eating dinner with some jabronies who I happen to be in a band with. Rated while watching Teen Wolf. Appearance a vibrant bright gold with thin white head that rims around the glass. Aroma of spices, coriander, wild yeast, very floral, stings the nostrils. Taste very floral and spicy, but smooth at the same time with decent carbonation. Wild yeast and spices are the prevalent ingredients, kind of sour in the finish. Really is pretty good.

Draft sample at MWBBF. Pours a cloudy gold color with a small white head. Aroma of bready malts, farmhouse funk, straw, apricot, and some grass. Flavor of bready malts, lemon, candi sugar, apricot, farmhouse funk, straw, and mild spice. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a mostly sweet mouthfeel. 22 oz bottle from Treasure Island foods, Hyde Park, Chicago. Pours a hazy golden color with small white head. Aroma is full of yeast, apricot, cloves, grass, and something from a barnyard. Taste is sweet at first, then spicy, and finally driy. Medium body with enough carbonation to keep the mouthfeel lively. On tap at the Bavarian Lodge in Lisle, IL., and served to house stemware showing a hazed, orangy gold color, modest, soft white head foam that reduced quickly to a ring & film, and left some light, wavy lacing on the glass. The nose was light yeast, mid-fruit as apricot/peach, citrus as orange, and light spiciness. The flavor presented soft malt, some alcohol warmth, a moderate, lingering hop bitterness, with earthy & peppery notes. 22 oz. bomber, $10 at Square One, Chicago’s near South.Poured into a tall flute, it shows off a light amber or slightly orange body with thing layer of foam atop. Has a big malty smell with warming spices that I’m picking up at arm’s length while still wrestling with the menu. Taste is big malts with the expected esters of a warm ferment, The hop bitterness just slightly curls the edge of my tongue, and a note of fruit and funk thread through as well. There’s a yeasty outline in the taste too, even before I swirl in the yeast dregs form the bottom of the bottle.
