650 ml bottle courtesy of josh. Thanks. Pours a hazy yellow color with a big sudsy white head that has good retention. The aroma is big with Belgian yeasts, spices, floral and white fruits. The taste is spicy and fruity with pears, peaches, pepper, coriander and citrus. The palate is full and smooth with soft carbonation. Finishes long and dry. Overall: Solid saison alexsdad06 (10430) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 24, 2017
Draft from notes. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have pale malts, bready, some sweetness, Belgian yeast, hay, funk, some fruity character, good saison. Frank (4194) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 28, 2010
On tap at the brewpub. Orange hazy. Nice head of medium bubbles which dissipates rather quickly. Fresh, fruity nose w/ a bunch of a lavender baby powder character. Light to medium bodied. Lightly tart and crisp w/ just a hair to much bitterness (which is really not distracting). Vigorous carbonation. If you like hoppy saisons, this is a good one.

UPDATED: OCT 19, 2010 Sample at the brewpub. This beer pours a cloudy yellow-gold color with a medium thin white head that recedes quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of mildly spiced hops and fruit. Light body with flavors of hops, bready malt, sweet fruit and yeast. The finish is sweet spices and fruit with a yeast aftertaste. Decent Saison overall. On tap at their brewpub. This was a nicely hopped-up saison, with herbals and peppery spice standing out. The pour was too close to the top of the glass, leaving nothing more than a thin layer of wispy white head. The body was fairly translucent and burnt orange in color in the darker lighting. A full, hazy cloud of an aroma here, with some decent notes. Bananas, peppery spice, lots of herb, some caramel, and nutty cereal grains. The mouthfeel was peppery and bitter. This bitterness made this saison unique for sure. Mixed fruity notes up front, and peppery citrus. More of a herbal and light floral finish. Really not too bad here. Good profile, buts things didn’t quite come together for me in all the right ways. JPDurden24 (1675) - Chandler, Arizona, USA - JUN 15, 2012
At FWIBF, Hazy and golden pour, Yeasty and grass aroma, Fruity, citrus with a some alcohol in the finish. Not great, but pretty good and a little different. nuplastikk (6289) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 22, 2012
Orange-tan, tulip glass. Dry lemon pepper aroma. Dry and sweet, with some underlying funkiness. Captures the style well, maybe leaning a little to the sweet side. Some twisted melon notes. A nice Saison, but not as nice as I remembered it being the first time. Quite peppery, yet sugary. OK. jaymobrown (1845) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 13, 2012
It’s OK. Pours a golden color with earthen, hop, yeast and grass flavors. Medium finish.
