3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A very nicely crafted Saison. The popularity of Farmhouse Ale’s are on the rise.
Draft from notes. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have pale malts, bready, some sweetness, Belgian yeast, hay, funk, some fruity character, good saison. BeerdedDave (1850) - Beckley, USA - MAY 1, 2017
on tap at the brewery; cloudy gold color; spicy saison yeast aroma; fruity, peppery saison yeast flavor TimE (6000) - Tokyo, JAPAN - SEP 14, 2016
Medium dark golden color. Frothy white head. Yeasty spicy nose, modestly hoppy. New world take on this style, which usual results in a poorly executed beer and this is no exception. MrTipple (5509) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 18, 2016
Sweet grain malts, caramel, light barnyard, yeast. Hazy, pale gold, small, creamy, white head. Light sweet. Sweet grain malts continue, caramel, molasses, some barnyard, soft carbonation. Decent Saison, nothing too crazy, very well behaved barnyard. Keg at brewpub, Chicago. mjmoen (575) - - JUL 24, 2016

I had this at Global Brew. Pours gold with a white head. Taste sweet, some spice, earthy. I thought this was good. I would drink this again.

Draught at Craft&Romance. Surprisingly boozy one, well the abv is not exactly saison-like, some lemon and apple notes, peppery hops which don’t really do it for me, quite a disappoinment really. Not sure if it’s import realted but just doesn’t do it for me... jgb9348 (6394) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAY 11, 2016
Hazy golden coloured body with an orange glow and a thinnish, single centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of wheat, canned corn, grass, hay and a lot of coriander seed. Medium-bodied; Very assertive wheat flavours with a big malt profile, some subdued sweetness from honey, grass and a little funk from the yeast. Aftertaste shows some honey along with bunches of coriander seed and not much else - not much of a saison at all. Overall, a pretty unassuming beer with no real good flavours nor complexity, especially for the style. I sampled this snifter on draught at the Brewpub in Chicago (Kedzie Ave), Illinois on 11-May-2016 for US$6,00 while here in Chicago. willisread (3474) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - APR 23, 2016
Tap at C&R. Big classic saison yeasty nose. Lemon and biscuity malts. Overly sweet on the palate. Gets kind of boozy on the palate and through the finish. Some pepper and sweetness on the finish. Classic American saison: too boozy and too sweet. j12601 (12979) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - DEC 11, 2015
On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Gentle musk on the nose. Medium bodied, big musk, soft wheat, lots of tasty yeast. Slow yeast into the finish, spicy and musky.
