COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Crisp golden ale with a delicate hop finish. This is our lightest ale and it is brewed with a bit wheat malt for body and Munich and Aromatic malts for and undertone of honey-like sweetness. Lightly dry-hopped with Cascade hops for that classic American golden ale aroma.

Pours a golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is herbal, floral, and earthy hops, a little skunky, and some bread malts. Flavor is similar, a little on the sweet side. Has a highly carbonated mouthfeel. Okay.

Draught at the Friendly Toast, 2/27/16.
Minimally hazy, clear straw golden body shows light carbonation and a small, white head with moderately-low to low retention.
Grains, soft herbs and bits of dry cookie-like malt character grace the nose. There’s some cereal-like character which kind of dulls the hop accents, though they are fruitier than I’d like for a golden ale, with light citrus and orange peel-like character.
A bit bready, dusty and biscuity, with zero sweetness and a bit of huskiness/graininess on the finish. Medium carbonation is not particularly tight, leading to a somewhat loose, watery texture and an odd fruity-citrus-meets-biscuit-and-baked-bread character that isn’t all that appealing.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Not much on the nose, subtle grain and crackers. Medium bodied, grain, crackers, a hint of grainy yeast. Grainy on the finish. Easy drinking, but not my thing.

scarletfire65 (1466) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 13, 2015
Bomber at home. Clear deep golden with a foamy head. Aroma is of crackers, lemon soap, sweet grass. Light bodied, bit of sweet honey, some cat piss from the Cascades, mildly hopped finish. Really nicely done for a simple style.

thome50 (1295) - Morro Bay via Orange County, California, USA - NOV 4, 2015
Bottle at the Libertine November bottle share. Pours a light golden with moderate white head. Aroma is bread and slightly sweet. Taste is a run of the mill honey and slightly hoppy ale. Nothing really bad but nothing good.

Hops have held up for a couple months to make a good American-European style golden. Good summery drinkable stuff.
