Aroma isn’t strong on barrel. Flavor isn’t at first but ends strong on the carmel vanilla and even oak astringent flavor. A very nice oak aged beer. But lots of carbonation which is surprising. On tap. luttonm (6169) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 16, 2017

Pretty decent all around beer. Dark and thick on the tongue. Toffe and licorice, lots of chocolate, and booze. Tried with Brandon at the brewery in 2017. ciocanelu (2465) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - APR 10, 2017
Black color with tan head. Aroma has some astringent bourbon, slightly boozy with some burnt sugar. Taste starts with quite harsh whiskey, booze, sweet malt and some dark fruits. Full bodied, soft carbonation. Overall it has some nice flavors but quite boozy and not too easy to drink. mariuspoenari (2637) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - APR 9, 2017
Bottle shared at a tasting. Pitch black pour with a tan head, slow to rise to the surface. Notes of bourbon, tons of vanilla, chocolate, toasted caramel, whiskey, some burnt rubber, light coconut and quite a bit of alcohol. After a few sips, it is quite difficult to drink. drdisque (830) - Illinois, USA - FEB 2, 2017
On tap at Tuman’s. Pours very deep brown with a thin brown head. Flavor is rich and creamy and bourbony. Mostly sweet. Not dry, No alcohol burn. Milk chocolate notes. Really pleasant BA Imperial Stout. On par with the best, but a bit more simple. scarletfire65 (1458) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 29, 2017
