22. Wow, thanks, R! What an amazing out-of-the-blue treat. Pours jet black with a dense and creamy dark tan head that falls away, leaving a sturdy, stubborn little ring that really hangs around. Big sweet bourbon nose, just tons of apricot and vanilla. Creamy thick body with carb. Roasty dark chocolate and cocoa nibs mid palate, much more coherent than the aromatics. Bourbon and wood presence there, but soft more of a showcase for the sweet dark malts. Long sweet chocolate finish. bigtaster (970) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - NOV 27, 2015
In snifter from brewery. Black with small tan head. Intense Bourbon, brown sugar, wood, vanilla, raisin. Thick oily body, low carbonation, sweet, slight bitterness. Intense flavors, fitting name. Good. demmbonz (732) - Erin, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 25, 2015
Shared bomber to snifters. Thick and oily. Light tan head. Great retention. Velvet mouth. Like a milk shake. Aroma of so much oak. Chocolate and roasted marshmallow. Year+ old bottle. mcberko (17339) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 23, 2015
22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out smoky whiskey barrels, some roast and alcohol. Flavour is complex as hell, with smoky whiskey barrels, some roast and more smoky whiskey. This is so well done. Perfect amount of heat, smoke and whiskey. Phenomenal. Bottle - Dark boozy bourbon barrel notes and dark chocolate. Jet brown with a light brown head. Nice bourbon sweetness, toffee and molasses with big roasty sweet notes. Much better balanced than the nose.

Bomber from binny’s. Very thick, motor oil consistency. Dark brown, actually black with essentially no head. The aroma is straight whisky with some oak and sugar. First sip is strong, not an alcohol heat, more of the oaky liquor flavor of a bourbon. If you like bourbon, you’ll love this. I like bourbon... But I could use a little more spice or chocolate or something. As is heating up in my hand, the baker’s chocolate intensifies. Which kicks this up to worth the cost (at least). berntholer (1615) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - NOV 16, 2015

(bottle) clear, very dark brown colour with a medium tall, brown head; aroma of molasses, stewed fruit, dried fruit; thick palate; balnced flavour with a long, light bitter finish AdamChandler (4977) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - NOV 14, 2015
pitch black oily and a very dark color espresso crema head. Sweet aroma like the others I’ve had here. Herbal, whiskey but overall a very light aroma. A lot of booze in this one. Vanilla, with candy corn, caramel and cocoa. Coats the tongue. Leaves a lasting bitterness with the chocolate. Despite the intensity, there’s enough creaminess to make this a very good beer. Needs to age I think. Very intense.
