From a bottle poured a brown color with a small amount of head. Bitter hoppy flavor with a lingering finish. BLADT (700) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - MAR 31, 2014
From trap. Clean amber in glass. Great lacing. Grapefruit and pine aromas. No guessing that this dry hopped. Tastes fresh. This is hop assault on the package w. Other flavors might be present, but are buried deep. Grass, pine resin, and grapefruit hit you first. Everything tastes wet. I find myself smacking my lips after each sip. Well balanced. kaser (6220) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 27, 2014
Draft pour at Hunter and Tails. Spicy bitter cinnamon pine and hop aroma. Bitter and hopppy taste. Full flavor fruity and grapefruit. Love it matthewjk (1097) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 11, 2014
I like strong ales, and I like Revolution’s version. More biscuit and bread than a IPA, yet it does have a considerable, dry-hop, presence. This is not "Arrogant Bastard," this is a different take. Sexual innuendo? Only improves this beer’s rep. Daytonbeer (730) - Ohio, USA - FEB 16, 2014
Pours orange with white head and no lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and light fruit. Taste is the same with moderate bitterness. Very nice.

22oz bottle shared by JohnGonk. Pours a clear amber color with a finger of khaki head. Aroma of sweet citrus fruit, caramel malt, pineapple, and cat pee. Taste of caramel malt, pine, resin, rotted citrus, and toasted malt. tricyclist (1125) - Florida, USA - JAN 1, 2014
Great sample pour. Pours deep amber gold with white fluffed head. Head dissipates quickly. Nose has great notes of grapefruit and fresh green resin. Great flavor with mild malt backing as plenty of hops up front. Wouldn’t have minded more. ARH (1125) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 22, 2013
UPDATED: FEB 6, 2014 On draft @ brewpub, poured into Tulip glass. First impression is slightly peachy when smelled. Also a slight roasty and earthy tone to the aroma. Pours sparklingly clear amber-brown color with a hearty head, with small lace. Initially tastes of grapes, grapefruit, orange, and peaches. Has a bit of a caramel (or maybe honey) on the finish; caramel / honey is briefly intense, but dissolves quickly as the swallow. As the drink warms, it turns to a more apple flavor. It’s a very clean, crisp, fizzy mouth-feel. Leaves a very light, earthy coating to the mouth, but nothing like an IPA, nothing more than to be expected of an APA. A nice balance of sweet, bitter, and sour, without being too much of any one (although more sweet & bitter than sour). A bit more hop-kick than an American Pale, but not quite as hoppy as an IPA; reaches a happy medium somewhere in between. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - DEC 6, 2013
Bottle dated Dec 05 2012, received Aug 2013. Getting to try this one a day after its 1 year birthday! Orangish straw, dark and thick, moderate frothy white head, so-so lacing. Powdery pixie stix nose, likely because of age, but also citrus peel and pith. Reminds me a lot of the one right before this (TV Party), albeit this one seems to have a bit more malt body. Seems to be a touch candied as well. Feels a bit more warming than TV Party. Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full. Finishes very citrusy. Given that its been a year (and a day), seems to have held up fairly well. The Pixie Stix aspect isn’t too strong on the tongue. Thanks Kevin! ryanfolty (2540) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - NOV 12, 2013
November 12, 2013 - on tap at Haymarket. Clear copper pour with some head. Aroma and taste of malt and piney hops. Taste was very sweet with a citrus and piney bitter finish.
