Deep black pour with a thick tan-brown head. The nose is intensely chocolatey with a bit of chocolate sauce, cocoa and fruit. Has a bit of licorice and some dark sticky toffee pudding. Rich and unctuous. Full-bodied and super tasty. nearbeer (5662) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 7, 2017
12 oz. canned 08-16-2017. Deep ebony with lasting ring and islands of bubbles. Nose is cocoa and dark bread with an undercurrent of caramel, soy and espresso. Tastes of dark bread, prickly green herb, biscuit, espresso with cream, blackberry and cocoa. Maybe a hint of soy as well. Long finish develops a nice char and almost some smoke. Medium bodied with medium-plus fizz and a highly drinkable, delicate balance. Thanks Party Bob! tonyreynes (15) - - NOV 30, 2017
One of my favorite porters. No surprises. It pours dark and has an aroma that is heavy on molasses and a little fruit. the taste is wonderful it is heavy without being cloying and has subtle overtones of fruit. I like the fact that it hasn’t been gussied up with any additional stuff. It’s a nice clean fun to drink Porter.

12floz can, COD: 07.11.2017, $1.75 unit cost, pint glass. The aroma presents a twang on the usual dark roastedness one expects from a porter. As far as far appearance goes its a dark brown with a head that quickly recedes to a ring. Leathery, slick with molasses taste and a finish that sticks to the back roof of my mouth. It's not bad, but I enjoy many other porters more. OsuStu (287) - - NOV 11, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 11, 2017 12 oz can. A deep dark mahogany color with a big toasty brown head. Aroma of coffee, nuts, earth, leather, vanilla, and root vegetables. Some earthy bitterness, molasses, unsweetened chocolate, and roasty flavors. A bit on the heavier side with some chalkiness. Good porter.

Can from Binny’s Lincoln Park. Deep brown colour, rapidly vanishing head. Quite a sweet, malty porter. Low bitterness. Small hint of vanilla, some nuts, a bit of toffee. Hint of acridity in the finish. A bit heavy and slightly boozy. Lacks drinkability. tnkw01 (1854) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 22, 2017
