Got this on the recommendation of one of the salespeople at The Andersons in Columbus Ohio. jmgreenuk (10147) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - OCT 15, 2013
Poured from can (yes can) into tulip glass. Very dark pour that foamed up a bit but quickly faded into a thin ring.
Aromas of bread, malt, toast, leather, soy, coffee. Taste is very bready at first followed by coffee, malt and cocoa. Slightly bitter and salty but pleasant.
A bit thinner than some porters that I’ve had. Medium to light body, texture is thin, creamy. Fairly active soft carbonation. Lingering finish...soy and coffee.
All in all quite good but just doesn’t strike me as a true porter.
Tap at Revolution Brewing, Milwaulkee Ave, Chicago. Poured a dark brown colour with a thin round light tan head. The aroma is weak roasted malt. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a huge malt liqourice palate. Not bad at all. Westmeister (2127) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - OCT 6, 2013
Pours almost black. Aroma is chocolate, coffee grounds. Really smooth chocolate with a hint of lactose for a nice medium full mouth. Finishes a bit sweet and with not much on the roasted side. Pretty nice for a canned porter. RobertDale (6913) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - SEP 5, 2013
12 ounce can. Thanks Mark! Pours a dark brown with a decent tan head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, and coffee. Taste is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, grain, and caramel. Nice Porter. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - SEP 2, 2013
UPDATED: MAR 28, 2014 Can: Very nearly black with a gigantic, long lasting mocha head that leaves some very nice webbing at the top of the glass. Aroma is coffee with sweet cream, a touch of sweetly roasted barley, and some light cocoa notes. Taste follows nicely, more roasted barley and some coffee with cream. Light touches of residual sugar, and a smooth finish of milk chocolate and mild roast. Creamy mouth feel but it could be thicker for 7% ABV. Alcohol is hidden very well though.

12 oz can from the Binnys singles rack. Pours a very, very deep rich brown with a tan head leaving some nice lacing. Aroma has chococaramel and espresso, just somewhat subtle. Taste is of bakers chocolate, fudge and roasted malts, but in a somewhat bland way. Medium to full bodied. Finishes sweetly bitter. This needs some more kick of something. It is just blah as is; very nice components with no meld. BOSSbrewer (2705) - Arkansas, USA - AUG 24, 2013
Had this at their place in Chicago. All the beer unless noted otherwise were good to very good. Unfortunately this was rated with another program and I can't import my comments. TheHOFF43 (2052) - Robbinsdale, Minnesota, USA - AUG 18, 2013
Can. Pour is dark, decent head and nice roasted malts. Solid porter, really like revolution charule (2299) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 15, 2013
At Revolution. Poured black brown with light tan head. Light on the aroma. Light carbonation with a sweetish roasted malty taste like cereal. Decent. ReverendMoon (158) - Illinois, USA - AUG 4, 2013
Draft in a pint glass. Nice dark color, very minimal head, pretty much nonexistent. Good porter
